I don't quite understand how her ability to "shop" is ever going to help her in the real world. Unless every item in every store has a picture matching her money she will never be able to understand it. I don't think a grocery store is going to stick on pictures of quarters and dimes and dollar bills on each item. And even though she's been exposed to outings where you bring your items to the check out and hand a cashier your card will she ever understand any of what she is actually doing or even retain the knowledge of those steps. I can see her in a store taking an item off a shelf and eating it. If I brought a two year old into a grocery or retail store they would have no comprehension of the process of choosing, calculating how much money something was and the steps to checking out with it. Abbie is no different than that two year old.
It’s because that’s what her classmates do actually need so she goes along on the field trips. I don’t think A&P really care .
but anything she does can be good for her social skills and OT so it’s not going to hurt her.

This is so not important, but I remember a controversy about flouride in a city I used to live in and it made me go look it up. Turns out that they add flouride to the water in every city I have ever lived in and I must be really bored to have spent time researching that! LOL
Yeah, it’s determined by the city. Not sure though if we are supposed to be concerned if Abbie is getting enough fluoride or too much? Or what? 🤓

Bingo! Exactly how I feel as well....also notice the “tears” she conjures them up enough to look red and eyes all glassy, then she’s completely dried up when she starts her next sentence

Being a stay at home mom is not her jam, is what she said..,whether that’s means the same or not I’m almost positive that’s what she said, I’m too lazy to go look for it
She said "homeschooling is not my jam" It has already been looked up and discussed even to the point of people claiming he edited it. It was being posted that she said "motherhood is not my jam". She may have said staying at home wasn't her jam...I don't know, she did say it was not for her.

That is how urban myths become "truth" people repeating things incorrectly over and over. Like sharing untruths through memes on FB.

I guess i'm behind. Why is Assa all teary eyed because Abbie crossed the street? I just skipped through the vlog but at around 18:30 he was saying how she isnt there yet and she didnt look both ways,.
Because he thinks she did something independently that they've been trying to teach her. From the vlogs, it didn't seem like they were even trying THAT hard to teach her either.

I find it interesting that when dealing with serious topics or when they're acknowledging something they've been called out on - Asa has a difficult time looking into the camera and making eye contact with the viewers. He spends most of this video looking at P or just off to the side. He does look at the camera a handful of times, but briefly.
It's very telling body language.
It seemed like they had never talked about it before.

Keep safe. Sounds awful. This seems to happen repeatedly so I can understand the anger but no excuse to go on the rampage.
Thank you and will do! Yes... this happens almost every year ... but under these circumstances that we’re already in, people should at least be peaceful and follow curfew.

Abbie has never got water on her own and never put the drops in! The drops would go right to her mouth not the glass! Can I just say that A&P knew damn well that Abbie would never be able to ride a bike especially one that size. She’s one year old! I would also like to say the P will get on her Pelaton one time because it will kill her knees and one pedal around and she’ll be out of breath and I hope A knows CPR! This family drives me insane and I have sent emails with videos clips to Hello Fresh, DD, YouTube, Facebook, LimeLife and a few others!
And I will keep sending emails and videos until these places stop sponsoring them for exploiting their IDD/ barely Autistic daughter! I cannot stand when P says “help support the Masses Squad”. In other words send money I need new furniture, clothes and my 3x a week grocery shopping!
Sorry y’all I had to get this off my chest. I feel so much better now!
