Holy crap the yelling was too much tonight.
He said they aren't a reaction channel. Let's see how that goes when a negative comment slips through his force field LOL

THIS!!! They keep pulling boneheaded stupid tit like this and then wonder why Abbie is the way she is. Abbie DOES NOT UNDERSTAND the difference between it's ok to do this in one situation but not in another situation. It only confuses her to encourage her to do it sometimes and then tell her off for doing the same thing other times.

'Follow your passions' seems like very surface level advice on Vlogging. I'm not a specialist on Vlogs, but there are other things to work on: lighting, angles, camera work, Photoshop, editing, possible scripts. I think just advising to follow their passions might get people to forget to work on their video quality.

So ... is that a charcoal grill or what?

Honestly donā€™t know how those people live in that house ... and Summer loving there voluntarily. That screaming is completely insane.

Also noticed he mentioned the Stauffer family who I have never heard of until people cited them on here. He said all news outlets are reporting this but ... I must be watching underground news cause I havenā€™t seen one news outlet reporting this (on tv at least.) and said the whole world has the same opinion on the topic. Sorry. I donā€™t. That family said they didnā€™t know the extent of his disabilities... why is it such a shame that they gave him up to a family that can really take care of him and his needs? I mean, his own biological mother/ parents gave him up Iā€™m assuming cause they couldnā€™t take care of him in the first place. He looks to be young enough to where he wonā€™t remember those Stauffer people anyway. Just donā€™t see the fuss about it. It was an irresponsible adoption but looks like they have done the right thing if they canā€™t take care of him.

I can't take much more. Asa is the most arrogant prat who just loves the sound of his own voice. What a load of absolute rubbish. Who cares about the bloody mic? Who cares about his show off expensive BBQ? Who cares about his office layout? I care more about Abbie still wearing a nappy and why? Her not being interacted with or listened to.

I cant imagine the leghumpers are going to put up with this Asa infomercial and Barney Rubble is going to go apeshit!

On my facebook feed, there were many news and entertainment pages covering the story. Not so much on tv.
It's crappy because it's already a traumatizing event for this kid to be adopted by people he doesn't know, who don't even speak the same language, then taken on a long flight to a country he doesn't know, he lived with them for two years, they made $$$ off him and his journey
and then when things got tough - they rehome him like he's a bad dog. It's just all around a plain crappy thing to do. That's how I see it.

Not to mention they did things like putting duct tape on his wrists and thumbs to prevent him from sucking his thumb.

I haven't even watched yet and I'm already saying "Oh for duck sake!"
Oh for fu**s sake did you see the burnt ribs and how šŸ· just put one on her plate, then they had the meat and salad and then a late night dunkin run. Yeah šŸ· you are really cutting down .
Did I see the pissy cushion at the beginning of the vlog and it had gone again half way through. All this time they have had her at home and she still wears a nappy, they could have had a really good start on potty training while she has been off school. Yesterday šŸ· was all excited about Abbie being a sophomore, she just left the with nappy bit off.

I just started watching the Six Blind Kids vlog in the last day or so. Correct me if Iā€™m misguided but they seem totally opposite from this family. Caring and unselfish. It seems like they also live in a expensive house, but do not show it off. I like the whole family, especially the mom. I hope there is nothing to disillusion me.

Someone mentioned the crap they eat.. I got blocked months ago for commenting about their excessive Dunkin consumption and that it's a waste of $ and calories.

They owe it to A to feed her healthy. I wish they would do a overhaul on all the junk in their pantry and fridge. She cannot convey to them that she is getting sick from the food. In fact, I read somewhere a while back that removing dairy from an autistic child's diet can significantly reduce bad behavior, as they act out from the pain, instead of letting someone know they're having issues and getting them resolved. My toddlers are not autistic, but I took dairy out of their diets and fed them healthier after reading and I noticed less tantrums almost immediately.

I think it's amazing that P cooks for her family almost every day, but it's incredibly unhealthy the way she does. I tried cooking comfort food my husband likes for a few months and we both packed on the pounds. It's not meant to be eaten every day. P probably makes a large plate for herself so she at least gets some of her own cooking before everyone else gobbles it up in one sitting.

I always skip over the clips of A inhaling food the way she does because she looks uncivilized. Their solution is to hold their hand over her mouth, just as they shove food down their own throats. Seems like she'd probably be getting gas and stomach pains after inhaling a plate full of food in under 10 minutes.

P adds Mio to be extra. The kid wouldnā€™t know the difference she inhales everything so fast.

The schools have vending machines so they can buy soda, chips, and candy. Had them when I was a kid too.

And the US stopped putting fluoride in the water years ago.
We had to sign papers for my kids to ā€œswishā€ with fluoride. Itā€™s not offered at the school I teach. I thought it was because the school was on city water? I donā€™t drink tap water.

Abbie gets bloody noses because sheā€™s constantly picking her nose. Being in constant air conditioning doesnā€™t help either.

LOL @ rub a pig downā€¦.

in regards to myka stauffer ā€“ doesnā€™t want to put a damper on the vlog at the beginning, lots of ppl were commenting and so he felt the need to address it, ppl think that because itā€™s an autism channel that they should comment on other autism channels. Asa says theyā€™re not a reaction channel, thatā€™s not what we do, we donā€™t react or give our opinions on other peopleā€™s lives, we have our own life. (sly lil dig at websites like ours). He says that viewers already know how he and the family feel or we can imagine what they feel about this kind of thing so it isnā€™t important to share his opinion. What matters is our opinion of it. ā€œBecause opinions arenā€™t going to change anything. The whole world has pretty much the same opinion on it.ā€

With the pool, they again use the reasoning that Abbie always acts like she doesnā€™t want to get in but once sheā€™s in sheā€™s happy and enjoys herself. Notice they didnā€™t show more than 30 seconds after they got her in the pool. Could it be that she flipped out because they forced her in there?? If she doesnā€™t want to go in ā€“ she shouldnā€™t have to. I donā€™t understand this forcing her into the pool business. It skeeves me out to be honest.
Yes, she enjoys being in the pool sometimes. Doesnā€™t mean she always wants to go in. Why is this difficult for A&P to understand?

LOL @ Asa trying to pass off his promotion of the new camera mic as casual conversation with P or with us the viewers. So smooth Asaā€¦ like silk!

They talk about Abbie always wanting to just go inside and rock on the couch. They acknowledge that when she keeps signing bathroom or break that she really means she just wants to go inside. They say that even tho thatā€™s what she wants to do, she canā€™t just do that all day long, that she needs to be active as well. Thus they do things like forcing her into the pool. While I agree that Abbie needs to be active, it still doesnā€™t feel right to have both of them grab her and force her into the pool. It just doesnā€™t. Find other methods. Physically forcing her is not going to encourage her to be more active. Itā€™s just going to give her a negative association with the activity and make her not want to do it even more.
This kind of answers my earlier question of why they force her to go in the pool but I still don't agree with it.

11:40 ā€œI did the rub for the buttā€ā€¦. That made me giggle. Iā€™m a child sometimes.

Adoption is also very slow. I dont k ow if china still practices the one child per family thing, but I'm betting he was given up at birth. Who knows.

They were purposely looking for a child with disabilities. She stated in a vlog that they were advised not to adopt him by numerous professionals. Myka stated that if one of her bio kids had these issues, they would have got them therapies/ meds/ whatever the kid needed. With this one tho, they "rehomed" him. He was what, four??

He probably went into foster care. He will likely be in foster care til he ages out. He is very young, so still has decent chances but his medical stuff, esp in the states, makes it rough. (I lived in foster care, so I have some knowledge as to how it works)

Nobody ever knows when they get pregnant what you're going to get. You can have a perfectly average NT kid, maybe a genius, or maybe one with tons of health issues and mental health stuff. Its part of the risk.

Right after they dumped him, like a freaking animal, they bought a new home I read then WENT TO BALI. These people can go right to hell. The videos with him in it need to be completely removed from YouTube and them be unable to make money from them.

They even claimed he asked for it. WTF. He didnt. He is essentially still a baby, and he is nonverbal. I'm not saying nonverbal kids cant communicate, but I disbelieve that he was able to express something like that.

I also find it interesting she never quite said what he was doing. Theres hints of violence (that myka stated, but she never specifies) toward the other kids, but you work with it!!!

I also saw that she was having issues with him staring at them while they eat. OF COURSE HE WAS. I've never been in an orphanage, but in foster care and camps they have for those of us without parents, they are REALLY stingy with food. I have had issues with food my entire life and still can get defensive over my plate and I'm 34!!

I dont attack anyone, but people taking my food gives me anxiety.

A year just my thoughts. Those people are garbage (except the children)

just got back from my sonā€™s house , we had a lovely meal in the garden and I saw my beautiful grandkids. I couldn't touch them but to see them after eleven weeks was wonderful. Iā€™m a sentimental old fool.
Just like to say extra special thanks for the funny rhyme about me, my son loved it.

I hate speculation, but I was thinking RAD - Reactive attachment disorder. Can be very dangerous for all in a household. Still doesn't justify giving away a child you teased for 2 years though
