My question is, Asa kept saying they stole the channel for financial gain, and to steal his ad revenue. If they have privated the videos, and no one is watching them anymore, what they hell can they be stealing? This current month of revenue?
What's the point of the sub count, if no one is watching?

And has anyone asked him why he is bothering to reload vlogs that are almost 8 years old? Abbie is not even in the same stage of life. But we know he's doing it because the old vlogs showed all the trainwreck behavior that made his money- the tantrums, nosebleeds, poop smearing, the PVC pipe hoodie, the assaults on P....all of that is what made/makes their money.
Such a scum, because really, if he is so confident in his 7 billion subs/ "community" he'd just continue on from today and wait it out.

The "hackers" didn't steal his ad revenue. He's lying.

They may have changed the bank details on his Adsense account to something the scammers control but it's not like they stole a million dollars in ad rev. You can't just withdraw money from the account; that's sent automatically once a month from Google Adsense to your verified bank account.

Per Google itself those payments are sent between the 21st & 26th each month. No money left his ad revenue account.
His Google account appears to be terminated now so no money will leave his account to the scammers - if they changed bank details - at payment time.

The major goal of these scammers is to blast their scam videos to as many people as possible in hopes of suckering a few people in. If they're lucky they can maintain control of an account long enough to run videos for several days - the ones that got Asa's account had videos scheduled for this morning, but the account was shut down before then.

Any banking accounts tied to that Google account are potentially at risk, but in reality he won't lose any money from fraudulent activity on his bank accounts. He might be out some money for a few days until the bank investigates and puts the money back. Happens all the damn time.

The big issue here for Asa is either not getting the account back at all or getting the account back and finding that all his old vlogs were deleted, not just privated. Everything else can be mitigated.

What I could see happening.... His "hacked" channel goes dormant for awhile. He will miraculously regain access to it when Abbie's guardianship stuff is done with.

He can then use this new channel, and whatever subs he gets, to repost old vlogs.

He can still put out stuff on his stupid moremass channel, and keep putting together content for his big channel to have ready when its back up and running.
