I've been watching their vlogs since they lived in Gran Canaria, back then the vlogs weren't just aimed at kids and they were really nice to watch, the whole family was down to Earth and very conscious of environmental issues and reducing their impact but I never found them preachy. They were just super relatable and "real" and none of the vlogs seemed scripted or forced at all. Now all of the vlogs are aimed at a younger audience, they don't share much of who they are and everything has become super gimmicky, and its really really sad, the amount of money they spend on props for Mia's and the fizz sisters channels is insane, and their morals seemed to go out of the window once the money started coming in. Unfortunately I see this happen so often when youtubers get rich and as much as I wish success for the smaller channels that I love, part of me hopes they'll stay small and relatable.
Totally agree. What I don’t understand though is why so many Tatlers who are very bothered by other YT families don’t seem very bothered by this money grabbing childhood prostituting family!
I feel exactly the same. I enjoyed watching their old vlogs when they sold everything from the London flat and moved to Brighton, then Gran Canaria etc, but since this Dubai move they have changed so much and some of the vlogs are wrong on so many levels. Mia especially, is kept at home doing weird dressing up/ make up videos. She does not socialise with other girls her age. The family used to love nature and walks and we would see their shopping, cooking and recycling; now we just see them consuming and wasting. I do not think it will end well.

Why did they not tell Harriette before they put the video out? Why did she have to wait to find out when their fans did? She is family, his Aunt, and should have been told before.
I agree I kept seeing her comment on ibsta saying she can't wait to find out when they were saying the video is coming. It's a shame she wasn't told before, it's not normal

I thought it was a shame that they didn't send the video to close family members first before announcing. But I guess they're not really close to any family members. I didn't watch Harriette's video on it as she irritates me, but would have been nice for her to know before random people on the internet. She seems to love those kids a lot.
I think I remember the vlog when they sat down in gran caneria saying they were coming home to uk as I think I maybe wrong the agency at contacted them and they decided to take youtube and deals so it meant coming to UK. Basically money called. I think they started to change when they moved into that very large house in Brighton the last one they had before leaving UK. That's when the family became unrelatable, and different material.
Agreed. I really enjoyed watching them in their first Brighton house. For me things went downhill in the second house. Then all their morals went out the window in the third house. Such a shame, really.
I enjoyed Mia's zero waste video recently. It reminded me of the old days. But money has definitely changed them.
I think they are living there on a tourist visa and doing a visa run every 30-39 days.
Today they are off to Abu Dhabi, a month ago it was Georgia, month before Bali. There is a picture of Darren with Karma about a month before that saying they had a weekend at Hatta which is on the Oman border.
Definitely looks like they are leaving every 30 days to renew their tourist visa and I cant see how vloggers with no ties or employment in the country could get a visa to stay there.
They appear to have a Nanny too as Karma is not in all the vlogs when they are all out and about. So much for the earth mother/ natural child rearing. Money has really changed them, a few months ago it was the new Dyson sponsor, this week it is a robot vacuum cleaner. We can all see through the fake life they are living.
I’ve said it from the start, if we’re comparing them to the crappy ingham’s I STILL think the ingham’s kids have a more stable life, and that’s saying something.
Mia has never had friends or peers, she’s a 3rd rung in their relationship, she looks after the baby, spends all her time with D and G and “works” to provide for the family.
