Equestrian Influencers #25 Tina not happy with her lot & chases a Badminton House Photo

The video DH posted of the horse not stretching down at the end of the test was Andrew Gould, not Gareth Hughes, if you mean the one about 4 weeks ago & it did look very odd? DH does post some good stuff & is prepared to be gobby & not politically correct & can/will go where others can’t at times on the subject of abuse; however, she can also be quite disingenuous & deliberately inflammatory eg recently posting old videos with no context of Annabella Pidgley from a competition shortly after she got Gio & making out the trust issues were still a current problem. She also wound up her followers by reposting a photo from Jessica von Bredow-Werndl’s Instagram post, asking what noseband she was using shortly after posting about nosebands with inbuilt tin tacks, so drawing a number of them to jump to conclusions that JvBW was using it in an international competition….
---

I hope so too after all the heartache with the last one but I’d rather they didn’t breed the mare again tbh as they never got to the bottom of Bella’s soundness problems so they have no idea if it’s likely to be passed on or not. IMO you should only breed from mares that retire sound or due to an injury that is in no way connected to breeding or conformation.
I had this on my original comment but deleted it. I wondered if they used the same stallion as before. Seems mad to me that they would breed from that mare not knowing what is up with her.

I listened to that podcast with Justine on, she more or less said that the vlogger girls read Tattle on the regular and have tried to help her get an account/sign in. Makes sense how they randomly get 'sent screenshots' all the time!

Also was browsing this account, opened this post and - that must be Dali right? Mackey Ireland saddle pad and he has that constant tail swish.

Seems this person doesn't seem to care (rightly) what influencers think, a couple have replied in their comment section defending themselves for using some type of training method (not that they were in the post, like Dali is) that was being criticised and they very much stand their ground.

edit: I just scrolled down to see Holly commented on the post haha. They seemed to have a nice-ish talk about it, Holly wasn't happy about the clip being used without asking - which I'm 50/50 on, she posted those clips publically and they were taken at a public place/show.
She quite a mature view on Tattle. And what she said makes me wonder what she thinks about the Ember comments. As they are just opinions at the end of the day and as far as I am aware no one has said anything nasty about Justine and Lucy and the comments on Ember are no worse than what anyone who sees them at an event would say.

She has it in for certain people and seems to be a horrible, jealous, bitter human being. Her own riding career never amounted to anything meaningful (basically failed).
Whatever useful content she may occasionally post, I refuse to contribute to her chanel because of the vile things she does, so I won't click on anything she does out of principle.

Absolutely. And preferably mares who have done something meaningful.
And not one that is a baby herself. Can’t beleive Katie Van Slyke bred from Ginger when she was just a bang herself. But then she is selfish and puts herself before her horses. She is back riding again and wondering why the horse is lame with her weight on it’s back. There was a comment on a fakebook post with someone asking if there is a weight limit but not sure of it was on her account or one that has stolen her videos and posted them. If it’s hers it will no doubt be deleted by now.

yeah I agree, Lucy and Justine don’t get the worst of the criticism here though I appreciated that she said she WOULD take it on board if someone pointed out a legitimate problem (which imo happens often, we aren’t just blind haters and most of the comments come from an equine welfare POV)

Has anyone heard about the ponease scandal going on? And now the influencers that promoted it are being mentioned 🙈 its number one equine drama atm in Australia

Which Podcast? Might make it my bedtime listen as I really like Justine...x

It was Georgie Campbells funeral yesterday, just so we are clear on how ‘affected’ the influencers were by her passing and the circumstances around it, they were all celebrating Sophie Halls 30th birthday yesterday, not even a mention or a pause for thought.
No social media black out, no telling is how we should think and feel…..

I thought the exact same thing!
It was all just jumping on the bandwagon at the time.

In fairness you can't expect Sophie to cancel her long planned and booked event just because it was the funeral of someone she probably didn't even know personally, I don't think any of them knew her other than having seen her around. Everyone was affected when it happened, I am still haunted by seeing it on TV because it was clear that it would be pretty bad.

But I don't think it is unreasonable for them to carry on with plans. Everybody stopping life won't bring Georgie back.

I didn’t and that’s not what I wrote!
But none of the even acknowledged it, despite being so terribly upset and affected by it at the time.

My post/comment was more aimed at the fact that it was business as usual, not even a purple and white heart and a dove which people all posted in light of the news.
It has been said from the very day it happened, laugh, smile and have fun, don’t be sad and feel awkward, but some sort of acknowledgment wouldn’t have gone amiss.
Who’s Sophie Hall?
Exactly, who is she?

I wonder why Banks chips in at most fences? It looks almost messy looking but also clever on his behalf because he still seems the clear them.
Has he always done it since he was young? He certainly doesn’t look like he has issues but maybe it’s down to his feet as he hates the hard ground without pads. Maybe taking a flyer puts more concussion on the foot as he lands? I could be talking tit as I don’t know a huge amount about biomechanics of the horses leg but bigger jumps will cause more concussion naturally.

the tall, toothy girl who wears a lot of make up and appears in some of their stories etc (think she was at Emily’s hen do?) she is a “luxury lifestyle” influencer (puke).
Never heard of her but I’ve just looked at her IG and she’s not for me. Her page is pretty much everything I hate about social media and ‘influencers’. Those ridiculous staged pictures in different outfits… No thank you.

OK, I see what you mean and yes, a bit of purple and white would have fone a long way.

Sophie Hall is a fairly posh "country lifestyle" influencer but she does event to 1* and actually rides jolly well. I believe she competed for Britain on university teams. I know people who know her and she is apparently a super nice person. Remember the Piggy French day the girls did last year? She was there.

I saw her on Tina’s Piggy March vlog last year and couldn’t believe how stuck up she was, saying she doesn’t clean stables etc. Great role model she is, again it’s a no from me!

Wowzer!...Winnie has some balls of steel for a green horse! Although she did look a little worried and tense at the end after she knocked that last jump bless her.

She looked good, but overweight. Would be refreshing to see some fit and lean horses this time of year. Ellie is a great rider though and I thought Meg rode really well having such a confident partner to ride with.

Don't tell me, its a load of overhyped rubbish and if you criticise it and suggest a perfectly good vet prescribed supplement on the FB page you'll get the owner sending you cross DMS, although she's pretending to be a 'ulcer specialist' with nothing to do with the brand?
