Just on the influencers only doing ads, what do you expect them to do? Isn’t the whole point of an influencer to influence someone’s behaviour/purchasing habits? From day 1, any person trying to influence you into doing something is essentially advertising. Maybe it’s more overt now, but it’s always been the case.
Yes obviously influencers are expected to do ads but if I wanted ad after ad after ad I'd watch the home shopping channel on TV. The influencers I like are those that have a nice balance of quality content with ads mixed in. The likes of Lauren Dubois and Sean Szeps both have great ads and quality content between

Ahhhh makes sense, I have little ones 😆 was thinking Emmylou was influencing me a bit too hard lol

Oh god help us, Dawnfraserlou is back.
Remind me to start taking some prophylactic antibiotics since we share the same pool 🤢

I will NEVER understand how she doesn't shower and change at the gym, or at least, as soon as she gets home!
Dirty, festy, swampy-crotched witch!

What's Aussie's stance on adverts on ANZAC Day?

Here in NZ we have a ban on adverts from 6am-noon, and no retail shopping until 1pm (with the exception of dairies and service stations).

If AU is the same, I hope this flog observes the rules and shows respect!

I did not have the return of ThorpeyLou on my ANZAC weekend bingo card!

Her newfound use of ‘we’ when speaking only about herself is so concerning to me. Those multiple personalities really struggling inside her 😂

“Tiny little tin of tuna”, also known as a regular sized tin of tuna. It’s not tiny. It’s just a controlled portion. The horror! 😱

I don't understand how she could keep getting a repeat prescription for duromine? Is it doctor shopping? I'm not across duromine or what it really does, except for seeing it on this thread so I'm not trying to be controversial.

Goodness me I don’t know how I’ve not drowned or died of hunger before watching LaurieLou’s infomercial on mixing tuna with Mayo and how to hold a kickboard 😏🏊‍♀️🐟

You absolutely do not come across as trying to be controversial 🤗

Like most prescribed repeat and/or long-term medications, it is something that is reviewed by a doctor every three months - to determine among other things, its suitability for the patient, their results, and abuse. As a patient is about to run out, they request a script for more - and if the doctor feels a review is needed then they'll insist on an in-clinic or phone consult with the patient before signing it off.

I really hope that if she is using this, she is heeding warnings about not mixing it with other weight loss products - because if she's consuming the shakes she was promoting a while back then that's not very wise.

Edited to add: Unless she was buying it on the black market or giving a fake name, I don't know how easy it would be to go doctor shopping? Here in NZ (and we're behind in some of this stuff compared to AU), everything you're prescribed is linked to a national database where they can see all your history. If a doctor doesn't pick it up then a pharmacist sure does.
