Didn't she get namechecked on that Stacey Dooley fast fashion documentary? I'm guessing that made her feel embarrassed with her whole haul based USP.
She did I think it was after that she went though a phase of quoting all the fabrics used in the jumpers she bought, now she’s on her buy second hand phase!

Yes and someone on Instagram has revisited it and keeps holding her to account about it, especially as she has so many followers. I think she’s lost her way ever since. And on the background are influencers who still do the hauls.

her angle was making high street look polished and minimalist. And she can’t really do that in the same way

I actually think Emma knows she's boring, which might be contributing to her current malaise. She's in a creative rut that can't be solved by just buying more designer bags. Her "style uniform" is so limited to the point where there isn't any room for fun or originality. Even if you said "I only wear black, gray, and navy", you can still plan interesting outfits by playing with different silhouettes. Or if you're like "These silhouettes work for my body" then you can incorporate color and pattern. She says NO to color, NO to prints, won't deviate from jeans and blazers, doesn't like dresses or skirts, and just plays it safe in general. Even she's getting bored of herself.
If I recall she said she only wears dresses, skirts and jumpsuits in the summer. Probably because she doesn't have anywhere to go in the Winter/Autumn to wear that sort of thing. She doesn't really go out to socialise

She's painted herself into a box when it comes to her style so she's restricted what content she can create. That seems to be happening to a lot of fashion influencers lately.

She didn’t get name checked, but they did use her footage with her permission. She didn’t know what it was for. She also addressed it at the time. To be honest, I dont
Think she’s the worst offender here.

No, she's not the worst offender but she did seem to take the associated bad press to heart, a contributing factor to loosing her mojo maybe.

On IG it looks like her and Simon have had a good time holidaying in Scotland, why didn’t she vlog parts of it and upload to YouTube?! It would’ve been so much more interesting than the repetitive, boring, bland videos she’s been uploading since her return!

Watched 3 seconds of her latest video... One blazer five ways. I immediately stopped watching and thought "florals for spring, groundbreaking" 🙄😵

Forgive me if I missed it, but has she introduced the blazer at all? Provided design notes, info on the “design” process (she picked some things and tried on the samples does not a designer make), when it’s going to be available, what it’s made out of? Why you should buy hers versus wearing what you already have or finding one somewhere else? I’m just super confused about how she’s approaching this collab. And really, showing off that blazer by styling it the way she’s styled every single other blazer she’s had?!? What’s unique about it? Am I asking too much?!?

No, she's not mentioned much about the collab at all. Compare that to Fran/Fashion Lift and her collabs with Wyse, as much as I personally think they are very over priced, she does talk about the process, shows samples, mentions the changes being made to improve etc.

Oh just saw on her IG that the pre-order opens next week. Then hopefully there’s more than just a 5 transitional outfits with a black blazer video 🙄

Verdict on her 5 blazer looks: boring verging on bad. Especially the last look with the baggy dad trousers and tennis shoes.

But I gotta say... Her Scotland trip looked like a lot of fun (I would kill to go traveling right now).

Surprise, surprise - trip to the Scottish Highlands just like Brittany Bathgate 🙄
Oh, did not know that... To be fair, Scotland seems like a pretty common destination, especially if you want to maintain social distancing, as there's a lot of nature and open space.

I'm so sick of big blazers and unflattering Jean's, they all look like olden day coal miners.

Emma says the blazer is made from dead stock, but that’s not mentioned on the website. The photos they used are kind of...not great.

What does non-toxic adhesive lining mean, if the lining is silk? Is she trying to make it sound fancier than it is?
