Just come on here because I’ve seen something that I find pretty awful. I was browsing Emma’s website and ended up seeing a link to Tony’s website so I went on it. It doesn’t seem like he updates it much now as one of the more recent posts on there was a blog written last year about how to make some extra cash in January.

One of the suggestions was to ‘get a loan’ with a link to the ‘cash lady’ website which I believe is a payday lender?

I’m honestly shocked and appalled by this. To have a blog about helping people make and save money and then directing them to a payday loan website is beyond irresponsible! I know it’s Tony not Emma but as far as I’m concerned it’s both of them and she will have known it’s there!

Sorry for the long post it’s just made me so mad!
Emma repeatedly encourages people to sign up to scams like 20cogs so we know she has no morals

Why does she also insist on eating protein everything, I get she needs it but you also need veg and vitamins 😂
Yes you do but it is very hard with a small tum to get hard protein in by that I mean chicken, meat etc its that type that keeps your tum full. They do recommend 30gs of protein daily but as much as poss by hard protein for that reason, Shakes etc give you the quantity but just slip through your pouch and don't keep you full for longest. Vitamins are really difficult owing to the malabsorption after a gastric bypass. You cannot get enough of them from foods because of this and will always be recommended to take multivitamins and other supplements. Veg 110% and I always used these as purees as they can fill up tiny tums and not allow enough room for hard protein. Don't want to be accused of writing an essay so would say have a google if interested.

I'm a lurker on this thread as I had WLS around the same time as Emma and was a bit scared to post.

But this has ticked me off. No carbonated drinks as they will stretch your stomach out!!! I was gutted as I love sparkling water, but was told not allowed.

Her stomach is still so new, she could do so much damage. She is a prize twit.

P.s I eat cheese triangles 😳😳
Don't be scared. Sparkling is a no no and with water you do just have to suck it up and drink the still. If you like the taste of carbonated drinks and crave them stir and leave until flat - thats not to drink today but tomorrow. I found it hard to give up my decaff diet coke but did. However I am not a hero and on a very bad time would do this. I saw it on an American wls bloggers posts. She lost 29 stones and has maintained for now 23 years. I'm 11 years out and maintaining. Its bleddy hard work but yes it can be done. Just don't follow Emma babes example.

They look terrible, the grey and pink do not go together but the quality of the grey is particularly shoddy.
I clearly have too much time on my hands so have done a little edit, the pink is not my taste but would work with the white tiles. I cant believe how they have ruined them.
Yes, just because you *can* paint tiles doesn't mean you should. That house looks pretty awful from the glimpses I've seen on Instagram.

At Christmas my OH and I painted pretty much our entire house in 5 days. It was hard going definitely but it was the only time we could do it since we work full time. They don't do a lick of work between them and take weeks to paint 2 square metres of bathroom tile

Ooops what the hell am I on, sorry for over posting just lets say I have a bit of time on my hands. WTF did she paint those tiles? We moved here just over a year ago we have a whole 5 bed house to redo and I mean redo. Just focusing on the ensuite we did have the room extended but in respect of the tiling went to Homebase and bought a complete metro style retile for £125 on one of their offers, builders did the tiling for £200. Not a vast amount for anyone on a 6 figure income and further more not one who is boasting about earning £10,000 this month from links. Emma babes if you have got it don't believe the publicity it is not better to flaunt it then act like a total eejit.

Boostar you have hit the nail squarely on the head. You do what you have to do when you need to. I applaud you and your OH - me and my old fart have done the same when we were younger you just suck it up and get on with it. Wishing you both every success.

This is where I find her claims of her salary to be utter bollocks, if you earn 6 figures a year you wouldn’t paint tiles. Everyone knows that paint on tiles looks tit and doesn’t save money in the long run.

How many hours has it taken her to paint those tiles, say a couple of hours a time x 3 coats. So 6 hours, if her time is that valuable, say its worth £20 an hour, then that job cost £120 + paint and brushes.

It is a false economy, it would be better value to buy new tiles and have them fitted, which would look professional and better.

What is an anxiety nap?

Also the shower looks awful!!
Tbf I have had anxiety naps - where consistent panic attacks just completely exhaust you. However I find it really strange with Emma that she doesn’t particularly talk about her MH very much let alone share resources for followed that may be struggling but will post a million photos of her cat and how she’s basically failing herself with her WLS

Ps I really don’t want to see photos of her hair loss. My hair falls out double the amount, no one wants to see that.

Far be it from me to gatekeep mental ill-health, but it’s extremely convenient to attribute your self indulgent laziness to “anxiety” but it is hard to believe when you’re someone who shares your entire life online and and you don’t talk about your struggles (or successes, or coping strategies) at any other time

Same here. I had them when I went through a deeply traumatic event in my life. I'm completely fine now but at the time, the only way I could get through it was to sleep it off. Emma, as far as I can see, is just a lazy mare trapped in a vicious circle of her own making.

I have also had panic attacks. Border line having one on the food shop this week. However I've never heard of them as being called anxiety naps...I haven't ever had a nap after a panic attack just a rest

I posted earlier but I’m still angry at her and what she claims are “anxiety naps”.

“My last anxiety nap and then I’m done” This speaks volumes. If your mental health is affecting day to day life how can you say it’ll be your last anxiety nap?! And she sandwiches the ‘anxiety nap’ between posting about painting tiles and making vegetable crumble. She’s laughing at people who really do have to rest for their mental health ! Because really she’s just a big lazy piglet!!

Agreed; I think I should clarify my anxiety naps aren’t ‘oh I’m feeling anxious I’ll have a nap then I’m done’ as if you can schedule genuine panic attacks like that; 🙄 this makes me think she doesn’t genuinely have it!

My anxiety naps are moreso when I’ve had numerous panic attacks where I’m exhausted, I’ll rest and end up falling asleep not actively choosing to just have a nap like she does. I think she’s full of tit.

I agree. She uses her mental health for sympathy and to deflect criticism. Notice she's gone quiet about the cancer?

This ‘woman’ makes my blood boil with the ‘anxiety naps’. I hate how she uses mental health to justify her incredible laziness, it’s like she tries to make it sound almost cutesy? Like everything else with her!

In my own experiences with particularly severe MH issues, the times when I take ‘anxiety naps’ are the times my depression/anxiety is so bad that it feels the only way i can safely get through it without reverting back to self harm, is by going to sleep. And at this point, I take prescribed sleeping pills and literally force myself to sleep through the darkness. There is nothing cute about it at all. It’s the saddest thing ever. She makes me feel sick.
