Personally, I only think Emily carrying on as she does makes her mum look bad.
Obviously when you boil it down she’s fully qualified to do what she does, but personally, I’d not trust a counsellor who very publicly had a daughter with the issues Emily has, and acts as Emily does.
Honestly if Emily sat down and did a mental health series with her mum she’d be on to a total winner views wise, she could become a spokeswoman for charities and do very, very well for herself from it whilst also helping others. But watching someone who specialises in children’s mental health have a daughter glorify ED (let’s face it, we’re at that stage now) whilst speaking to people who challenge her (on her weight, or asking where promised content is etc) like utter tit, no part of me would then think ‘oh, that’s the specialist for me to assist in helping me navigate a period of poor mental health!’.
To be fair, if it’s some elaborate plan to have Emily make young girls feel terrible about themselves and develop mental health issues and eating disorders simply to drive custom to her mum’s business then Id almost be impressed…
