A bit OT but it annoys me how her mums counselling Instagram account has 32k subscribers and no doubt her business is booming.. Not because of her at all, but because Emily is YouTube famous.
Personally, I only think Emily carrying on as she does makes her mum look bad.

Obviously when you boil it down she’s fully qualified to do what she does, but personally, I’d not trust a counsellor who very publicly had a daughter with the issues Emily has, and acts as Emily does.

Honestly if Emily sat down and did a mental health series with her mum she’d be on to a total winner views wise, she could become a spokeswoman for charities and do very, very well for herself from it whilst also helping others. But watching someone who specialises in children’s mental health have a daughter glorify ED (let’s face it, we’re at that stage now) whilst speaking to people who challenge her (on her weight, or asking where promised content is etc) like utter tit, no part of me would then think ‘oh, that’s the specialist for me to assist in helping me navigate a period of poor mental health!’.

To be fair, if it’s some elaborate plan to have Emily make young girls feel terrible about themselves and develop mental health issues and eating disorders simply to drive custom to her mum’s business then Id almost be impressed…

For me it’s the arrogance. ‘Of COURSE I don’t have a problem, my brain doesn’t work that way! Sorry if yours does but not me. That’s so funny you think I do, you obviously don’t understand my brilliant new work out and weight loss. It’s not that deep guys! I’m much better than you!’

The reality, sadly, it is that deep Emily. You do have issues with food. Your body weight is not normal weight loss. You look ridiculous in the try on clothing hauls. If you can't see how seriously underweight you are then you do have an eating disorder. People with eating disorders cannot see their weight loss when they look at themselves in the mirror yet you continue to be on this so called healthy eating plan. No healthy eating plan promotes underweight and ill looking. I would say take a good look at yourself but you're too far gone for that now. I hope your parents step in and do something about it for your own good

I just can't undarsteng her PT. How on earth can you make someone workout who definitely has problems. Also heavy weight lifting. I can't imagine she can lift anything heavy.

I know people who have had eating disorders (Anorexia) and honestly going to a PT and muscle building honestly saved their lives.

From a physical perspective and also mental, the control went from food to going to gym.

But she is loosing weight and looks much worse (if that was ever possible) she’s close to having some really long term health problems off the back of all of this

It is really really concerning and it makes me feel sad.

I am just hopeful that her PT is working with her to build muscle, they should recognise what she needs, otherwise I’d be questioning their qualifications!

I am most shocked at her mum. It seems like she is not stepping in, and she most certainly should be not only as a parent but due to her line of work!

You can’t help someone who won’t help themselves though I suppose.

She won't build muscle because I don't think she eats enough for that. You need fuel for building muscle and coffee and a protien bar isn't that. She is doing exactly the same Meredith Foster did a few years ago. She had more muscle though but still she was skin and bones.

And then some!!! She doesn’t eat enough to sustain herself anyway, to build to have to fuel your body way beyond what she current does. It’s very sad to see

My thoughts on her mum is that she is too scared to say anything to Emily. When I see her on Emily's vlogs she has nothing but praise for her daughter but has never mentioned her weight loss and that may be because to comment on Emily looking normal and healthy is something she probably cannot do on camera as that would have serious consequences in her line of work. Maybe off camera it has been mentioned but Emily is a highly strung diva I doubt very much that she would take her mum's advice

Thing is, we’ll never know what’s going on behind closed doors, Sophie could be saying things to her her mum and then she’s trying to balance it. Even if someone had said something Emily will never admit she’s struggling with anything

I’ve said this before on here but I genuinely think she’s trying to emulate a lot of other influencers out there, such as In The Frow, Lydia Millan and Fashion Mumbler who are incredibly thin ( too thin ) but get high end /luxury fashion brand collabs and ads, the thing is though, she’s taken the waif look too far and it’s alienating her audience plus not getting the brand deals as she looks ill and doesn’t live the lifestyle they wanna promote ( because she’s still living at home with parents etc ) she should just be her authentic healthy self, and she’d do so much better both personally and professionally

also even if her mum did mentioned anything on camera you can bet Emily edits that out straight away!

Actually low impact strength training barely burns enough calories, neither does barre. Unless she is running 5k on the daily or doing 45 min of HIIT training everyday, the only way to lose this kind of weight is diet. She is undoubtedly calorie counting and easting less than 1500 cal/day. The exercise has nothing to do with the weight loss as she claims.

She needs a nutritionist not a PT. Eating proteins, but overall consuming low calories will not build muscle. The body will burn the protein for energy in the absence of carbs.

I burn 400 cals doing a 45 min barre class and I only weigh 109 lbs and 5ft2 so defo possible. Plus I have done the barre classes she has and they aren’t easy
