I’m sorry but part 1 and part 2 of a true crime video on one case being stretched out over four days is a bit excessive. But whatever brings in the most money I guess 🤑

in the apartment tour she posted, in some frames she has blurred out the company logo out the window but then in others you can still blatantly see it! wasn’t edited well at all... i noticed it immediately. so many people commented saying they knew exactly where she was from the balcony view! she literally gave the internet an exact shot of where she lives to the point you could find it on google maps...
Where is the apartment tour video? I can’t find it

i see she renamed her “the lana clarkson case” video to “music producer turned murderer- phil spector”

anything to make the video seem more eye catching for the purpose of entertainment eh? anything to bring in more views and £. and taking the name away from the victim in the process

She should be bleeping ashamed of herself. How can she justify this? It's pure clickbait. Sadly a lot of YouTubers jump on the true crime trend for the views and money but at the very least focus on the victim(s) !!!

Another two parter! It’s so obvious she’s doing it so she can get at least two sponsorships per case. Also it’s really irritating me that she makes the two parts sound completely unrelated:
‘The English eyeball killer’ and ‘the school boy serial killer’
‘The reality tv show murder’ and ‘the body found in a suitcase’

Totally agree that the titles are pure clickbait. Like the one she titled ‘the Chinese takeaway killer’...it seemed really unnecessary

Exactly this! I think it really dehumanises the victims for the sake of views and promotes the killer in these cases. I’m not sure whether this is the case in the actual videos herself as I no longer watch her - but it’s awful if she is.

Just kind of frustrated she has the platform that she has and she can’t even give the victims in the cases she relies on for income their names and dignity.

I totally agree that she dehumanises the victims. I thought her thumbnail for the English eyeball killer video was really unfair. Because from previous thumbnails, the picture of the eye and the title, I thought the guy in the thumbnail was the killer, but he’s actually the victim. It seems really disrespectful.

Sadly she has been doing this for a while, I remember one she titled "KILLED FOR KEBAB MEAT?" or similar. Just tacky and disrespectful, not to mention very likely false in that case and it only serves to spread misinformation

i also didn't understand why she was naming two+ parters entirely different names but it makes sense - more clicks, more views, more ad revenue etc. There's absolutely no other reason and quite frankly it's disgusting, how does she live with herself?

I’ve been thinking that about the titles. They’re pretty disrespectful seeing as these were real people

As long as she gets her money she doesn't care.

Her titles are so insensitive and half the time irrelevant to the actual case. She'll take a small thing barely relevant to the case and make it sound totally crazy as clickbait.

I find her videos quite boring and way too long. I have to click off because I lost interest. Also the way she says 'video' really grinds on me 😂 sorry to any northeners.
Equally with Kendall, I just shut off after a while. I like how she donates to the families affected and obviously has a large following which I suppose is helpful for the unsolved ones. I only really watch them for the pets 🤗
The one I do like is Christina Randall, I've been watching her for a while and she used to do a lot of videos of being in prison but now she does true crime too, I like her personality so much more and she also gives her opinion on cases whereas I feel Kendall just sits on the fence.

I love Christina Randall!! Her prison videos are super interesting, I'll have to give her true crime videos a watch as well!

Youtube started recommending her videos to me during lockdown. She's almost compellingly awful at her so-called job.

She radiates smugness and a kind of awful, treacly insincerity, and its obvious she just pastes swathes of material from wikis or news reports to read out. She shows a total lack of interest in anything that even requires the most basic research, such as pronunciation of foreign names or even English words that are clearly well above her educational grade. Typically mangles a word, smugly notes she doesn't know how to say it, then shrugs and smirks and moves on. It's called google, witch. You can even find soundfiles for most non-English or just difficult words to model the correct pronunciation. Give it a go. Her grammar or rather lack of it makes her sound really tragically thick at times. If it's your job to talk to camera surely you should try a bit harder to sound more prepared? Plus she often presents two entirely contradictory claims regarding the events of the crime, clearly taken from different sources, and fails to note or try to explain the discrepancy which points to either her inability to truly parse what she's reading and regurgitating or just how lazy and uninterested she is in accuracy or quality. Or both.

I did hear her mention her main viewer demographic is pre-teens though, which explains a lot about her lack of quality and overall mediocrity versus her crazy amount of views. The comments are full of 'omg you look beautiful today's too, which also suggests an audience with a rather low bar for content who just see her as some unthreatening big sister type with a lot of cool make-up who talks about random, titillating gory crap for fun, like scary fictional bedtime stories. Although knowing that a lot of very young kids watch her, she might want to moderate some of her content. Not sure Peter Scully - one of the videos I watched and was kind of shocked how she got right into the facts of the grisly torture-rapes of toddlers and creation of extreme child pornography etc without really showing much more than a kind of suppressed glee at the awfulness of it - and that sort of tit is really suitable content for pre-teens. I wonder if someone presenting crime with her attitude really causes more harm than good, turning it into some weird form of entertainment with no thoughtfulness, redeeming or educational worth beyond that. Annoying girl.

I used to really like Eleanor's videos but I've just unsubscribed from her. Her tendency towards clickbait titles, every video selling sponsored tat and stretching out videos that don't need to be in multiple parts just feels so exploitative and disrespectful. Not to mention her swarms of fans commenting stuff like 'Yes queen, your eyeliner is perfect' which has nothing to do with the victims and which she also doesn't discourage.

Plus I've realised how shoddy her research is: she literally just regurgitates Wikipedia and if the case involves something from another country she always says things like 'I don't know how it works there'. Erm, look it up then? It is literally your job.

She did this with the Junko Furuta case too. She knows her audience is mainly very young so she should've skipped the details and if these kiddies really wanted to know then a quick Google search (just like what their queen does after all) would bring up all the info anyway. I get that some people have a morbid curiosity for this kind of thing but out of respect for Junko and her family+friends it should've been omitted, but she almost seemed to enjoy telling it

Oh god, ffs.

Junko Furuta's case is something that has traumatized many grown adults who've heard and seen a lot of tit before. It's truly awful, and it disgusts me when people approach the details like it's some cool 'top this tit, bro!' story. Let alone people who rake over it salaciously for shekels.

Kids shouldn't be exposed to stuff that can haunt adults, from the point of view of generating trauma they're not equipped to process, or being at a stage where it can duck with their development emotionally or sexually. It's really not right to use such things as throwaway popcorn style entertainment generally, let alone for little kids. The sanctimony of a lot of true crime shills really starts to bug me in these instances. Patting themselves on the back for an occasional charity shout out doesn't make up for the fact you're choosing to rake up and wank over some family's horrific trauma for your own profit and egotism.

I saw one video of EN's where she announced she was doing a 'momicide' series and I nearly puked. She was so impressed with herself for coming up with this little witticism to describe the horrific deaths of women who have had children, she was giggling and congratulating herself in an utterly inappropriate, cringemaking way. Like the women weren't real people, at all.

i believe this was because phil spector recently passed away, hence his name was trending on twitter and google searches. im assuming changing the title to include his name would make it more likely to pop up on google whenever someone searched up his name or anything about his death. would get her more views and therefore more money

Omg her two part videos are so annoying clearly so she can get money from ads from both vids and a new sponsor for each so frustrating I’d understand if she posted the vids the same day or the day after at most cause it’s clearly al filmed at once
