I find it interesting that she referred to Sean as a bully because he didn't like boiler suits. She kept emphasising this point and I feel like she was trying to embarrass him for not liking them, trying to get humny buns on her side. I just feel she is trying to paint a negative picture of him because he comes off as hard working and less obnoxious.

Obviously I don't know the dynamics of their relationship...it might be jokey, it might be true, I'm just going off my own experience. My ex was a bully, and I never dared say anything negative like that even in a jokey way because I knew it would come back tenfold. I also remember that before seeing more of Sean, I thought he was disinterested in her from little comments she had made and his reactions in certain videos. Now I have seen more of him, I think he is admonished for having a disagreeable opinion.
she actually used the word abuse if you go back and listen and for someone who was actually in an abusive relationship I take great offence to that

I missed that as I was half asleep watching it. That really angers me as well. Having an abusive partner is torturous and I still have issues related to it to this day. My poor fiancé is having to deal with anxieties and insecurities he had nothing to do with. I thought using the word bully was triggering, but using abuse is despicable too. If all she has to worry about is him not liking her outfits, she's lucky.

she 100% has just bought them for the video... just silly stuff she would never wear; kinda defeats the point of 'my boyfriend rates MY shein outfits' but ofc she's just bought what would make the video 'funnier' without thinking about the impact

she keeps harping on about how she likes to 'experiment with fashion' and likes extra clothes but she literally only wears joggers and her minging vans everyday ??? jumping on trends once again when she's literally the most boring person

ALSO the way she screams laughing all throughout the video !!!! Jesus wept ... Sean makes a normal comment and she's screeching laughing ! its soooo fake its infuriating me

Is it just me or does Sean mumble? I could barely understand a word he said in that latest shitshow excuse for a video!

I am going to say this and don't come for me but Demi redeems herself in my eyes when she talks about her mum or shows vulnerability with respect to her mum. She obviously loves her very much. The only times I have seen her cry was when she showed her mum the kitchen makeover and then in the video today. Both times I have actually genuinely liked her in those moments because she's not trying to be anything other than herself. I know this is a thread to drag her so soz haha

I agree about this and I also do genuinely think it’s nice she goes to the hedgehog charity regularly.

however, I can’t believe she went to Asda just for a mug and stick on nails. In wales we’re in a strict lockdown where half the supermarket shelves are closed off and the cases where I live are super low yet she thinks she can just go to a supermarket for a browse during a global pandemic.. when where she lives has one of the worst rates in the U.K.!!

Nah you’re bang on. That sort of real honesty about life is why we all probably originally subscribed to her!

I live near her and the area isn’t one of the worst. Even still.. going to Asda wasn’t necessary 🥴

I’m in tier 3 and went to Sainsbury’s for a twirl. All non essential shops/restaurants etc are open so I don’t what the issue is with that 😂

As much as I can't stand her I have to agree, I did feel a bit for her there. Demi we know you read here all of the time. It's natural to be scared of change. I'm a lot closer to my mam now that I no longer live at home. We see each other all of the time (obviously pre covid), we talk every day, and i'm sure it will be the same for you and your family. Just because you have your own home doesn't mean you can't spend Christmas Eve with your mam, you still can have it both ways. Don't feel as though you have to do everything on your own because you don't. Like the others have said, this is what we liked you for in the beginning, honesty. Now cut the tit and bring back the old Demi, stop pretending to be something you're not because it will only make you miserable.

Yes but how is that her fault? She didn’t cause the pandemic and she didn’t put you in lockdown. You can’t be angry for that - everyone in England is doing it, people are doing way worse. You can’t be angry at her for your situation. Blame your government

This might be an unpopular opinion but I actually wanted to weep with her when she was talking about moving out. If you are part of a very strong family unit it is definitely a big conflict of emotion. I am buying my first house, I have never rented and I am so so excited for that house. But I also know that there will be times that I will want my Mum so badly. Change is HARD!! Good on her for acknowledging it

Nice to see her being genuine, everything about that made sense and moving out with my boyfriend last year I felt the same way. She needs to show this side of her more. I’ve always thought she tried to be what she thinks people want her to be, just in a very obnoxious way. She needs to realise she got a following from being more true to herself and relatable at the start. There’s hundreds of other youtubers who go on the way she’s been going on lately but do it better, if I wanted to see that I’d probably watch one of them. I hope this is a turning point for her and she does realise how false she’s been acting.
