I remember reading a thread about her years ago on mumsnet (I know )

Someone was at a party with her. This was after her addiction struggles and was supposedly clean.
She was taking coke and the person said 'I hate to see you doing that' to which she replied 'don't look then.'

Unfortunately I don't think she will ever be able to stop. She pretends she is on the straight and narrow but I can't see a happy ending for her.

I know we've seen on the threads that she has said she'd offer dinner dates and people were mentioning she was selling herself offline too (I'm not shaming sex work BTW) and these recent trips to London and the fancy hotels (I did know someone who used to buy discount groupings for such things and go touting down there but I've never seen these hotels on there) they just made me think SOMEONE was 'paying for the pleasure' if you catch my drift.......

That's a good point actually. I've not seen any celebrities who's face look as bad as hers through drugs. Bet the likes of Bowie or Mick Jagger did alot worse.

I agree, she sadly looks like those people who have indulged in too much crack in the US. Those sad pictures of America's most wanted. All very sad.

I live in Scotland and we have a horrendous amount of drugs deaths still and it amazes me that a lot of drug addicts have been gouching and zombie walking around the city centre for years, whereas a lot of people lose their lives really young or after taking drugs for only a short time.

I was just reading a review on 'Halston' and it mentioned the staff bowl. Could be down to the quality i.e. what it was cut with plus her days of coke turned into anything she could score. She's a junkie who has been given several chances at rehab. Her family have avoided her for years as she knows dangerous people.

It is akin to young people suddenly drinking hard spirits too quickly when they've never drunk them before. The body can't metabolize such volumes.

I think it’s the length of time she’s been doing it that’s caused the problem

She clearly very ill - physically and mentally - and has been for years. I’m not sure denying her NHS treatment is fair. Her face is affected by her drug use...so let it rot off? Serves her right for being an addict eh? Bloody hell.

She has frittered away hundreds of thousands of pounds on the gak. She also got a new nose at one point and look how that ended up. Why should the NHS fund anything for her? She's a mess and still using. She is quite simply beyond help, beyond hope and beyond redemption.

Speaking as someone with MS, which was absolutely not my own fault, who had to fight for three years to get on a drug costing £10,000 pa (that changed my life) yes, I do begrudge people like Westbrook getting a new face (if true) to mess up all over again - which she will, you mark my words because she is not clean. Even if she took a drug test every day for a year in front of me, I still wouldn't believe it.

And to anyone, ANYONE feeling sorry for her - you're a MUG.

I'm the same age as Danniella. I've watched from afar all the ups and downs over the last THIRTY years although admittedly, I haven't followed as much in recent times and actually feel so much better for it - much like I did with the equally loathsome Katie Price.

I've read and watched the lies every time she's says she's clean to make money. Marrying some poor guy she met at a petrol station for the money from a magazine deal. The DNA test needed to prove who Kai's father was as there were that many blokes in the frame, the press ran a book on it. The cocaine snorting through both pregnancies. The (in my opinion) false claims of cancer, gang rape, miscarriage - all to make more money. I could go on and on and on.....

So, you can feel sorry for her if you wish but as long as she continues to parade her car crash of a life in the public eye (to make money) I am entitled to an opinion on her. After all, that's what we're here for isn't it?

And yes, I do sympathise with people with addiction issues but Ms Westbrook isn't even worthy of my pity anymore.

I think the poster was taking offence at me calling anyone feeling sorry for DW "a mug" - hardly vitriolic. But no, I've never left a comment on her social media or sent her a message ever. Just the thought of having any contact with her makes me feel quite grubby to be honest.

But I'm just warning everyone that she's a horribly manipulative and devious liar. Don't be fooled by her. She would sell one or your kids if she thought it would make her a few quid to blow on gak.

Addiction is an illness with behavioural symptoms including the ones you describe. It’s a brain disease.

If you don’t have empathy for that, fair enough. I’m not a mug for understanding it and retaining my humanity in my attitude towards addicts. It’s heartbreaking and tragic.
