Your health minister on sky news this morning was a pure head,

I feel bad saying this but I hope, if this really is passed it’s backfires spectacularly on them

head will do, I can think of plenty more nouns for him.

What you've said is nothing I haven't thought. Anyone who knows the care sector will know what's going to happen, and anyone with an ounce of common sense will see what will happen to the nhs.

"I told you so", or "I warned you" is going to be said.
The only reason this is happening is because 6mth or so ago they tested the waters with the media and everyone screamed that they wouldn't want a loved one cared for by someone unvaccinated.
Those in the know tried to warn that it would end up being tit vaccinated staff caring or short staff and bare minimum care, but the scaremongering worked.

I just hope to god that none of my loved ones need care any time soon. Now is not the time to need a care home or hospital care

Exactly what France are doing. Macron wants all over 60s to have another booster no later than 6months 5days post 2nd jab or their covid pass will be suspended.
And yet it's that age group that have been most affected by social isolation and mobility problems and need to be getting out for their general wellbeing.
I'd also argue that they're the age group that can make perfectly rational decisions about their health and wellbeing and don't need dictating too - not that anyone does, but they'll know the risk vs benefit more than anyone.
It's pathetic

I hate to think of patients and residents suffering but I want for there to be a huge crisis based on this decision. Even the WHO don’t advise it.

he’s always been a dick but he was REALLY bad with Kay Burley this morning. Arrogant duck

I completely agree, I hope it does all work out, but I also want the professionals proven right too - which pains me to say as I fight every day advocating for people.

I saw the clip where he arrogantly shouted over her. All I heard was him wanting to push a vaccine that's worth tit, based on tit stats 🤷🏼‍♀️

When people call food “guilt free”
Food is fuel it’s not something to feel guilty for ffs. Sick of seeing “guilt free pizza” “guilt free snack” “guilt free breakfast” if you feel guilty for eating anything you need to re-evaluate your relationship with food. It’s for energy. Calm the duck down.
wrong thread 😂

Was reading earlier about a 57yr old woman with early onset dementia she’s been stuck in hospital since April hasn’t seen her son or grandchild in that time only limited visits from her husband and daughter the family have had to go public as they’re getting nowhere with the health trust they don’t have any care packages available it’s people like this will suffer the woman will probably never see her own home again. Tomorrow is V day for the care sector I pity all those that will suffer through lack of staffing….Btw maybe this was the cause of your shoulder pain seems to be increasing

The situation has been deteriorating quite rapidly in Germany over the last weeks and they're trying to avoid that in France.
Over the last week the average number of deaths/day was around 37 (compared to 134 in Germany).
In late August the Minister of Health stated that a third shot would not be necessary to revalidate the health pass, therefore some people are rather angry. I totally understand the disappointment of those who thought the vaccine would protect them for a longer time.

Yes the governments weren’t very clear about what to expect from the vaccines and now people have lost faith ,they’re hoping the second generation vaccines will be more accessible but their a way off yet so still a lot of upheaval for people.

That poor lady. She needs consistency and specialist care (you know, by the unskilled minimum wage paid care staff 🙄). Bed blocking due to short staff in care homes isn't a new thing, and this will just increase that.
Maybe that's what the government want? All these inflated numbers of people in hospital.. all those people dying through being in an inappropriate care setting, or catching covid.. will be an excellent way of keeping the nhs in crisis narrative going and help the push of covid passes and mandatory vaccines for everyone. The figures won't be broken down, they'll be manipulated to just show that hospitals will have to close their doors due to being overwhelmed

I'm a wuss with injections so I didn't look at how it was administered.
I am getting worried though because my workload has changed and its looking like I'll have to be going into care homes soon. I'm not going to escape the vaccines for much longer, and I'm really worried after how I reacted the last time 😔

I posted about these injuries a few times before our vaccines were rolled out and they were calling for volunteers I was laughed at by so many on another forum, they were saying they had training and its as easy as pie and no one ever complained etc No, of course, they wouldn't because everyone knows your arm sometimes hurts and aches after a jab, those you damaged long term won't be going to you with their problem but to their GP, so of course you won't ever know you fucked up. Same with aspirating the plunger, how many have these people killed unknowingly. because they have no idea that is the correct way and not how they have been shown.

Maybe try looking for private work there must be people out there who need looking after and don't give a tit about your vaccine status . I would advise everyone to just wait .. Is it Canada that had to give it up right at the last moment because people still would not have it. Thier bluff was called.

They are waiting to see how many will get it, if those in care and NHS give in, then they are coming for everyone.

This is the test and clear to anyone who’s seen through all this BS. I hope they can stay strong. The media types like Nick Ferrari being so flippant about peoples’ livelihoods, I really hope codgers like him have to beg for “selfish” HCAs to come back and wipe their arses for £9 an hour.

I can't say what I do, but I'm not a carer. I have many years of caring and experience behind me though.
Going into homes will be a small part of my role so I'll be holding out for as long as I can.
I'd love to be the person that would quit for my principles, but I'm not. I don't want to leave the profession I have (and I definitely don't want to go back to being a carer, even in people's homes), and with homes closing what I do could become even more important than it already is. I'll be trying everything I possibly can before having to give in!
I'm hoping I can skip around it by being a 'visitor', who aren't required to be vaccinated - work that one out 🙄

The coming for everyone thing is already rolling with Sajid Javid saying yesterday that over 65s will be locked out from society if they don't have boosters. It will start with them and then go down the cohorts as people become eligible.. then it will be the kids they come for. You can see it a mile off!

Kermit has admitted vaccines only slightly reduce transmission so even more reason not to mandate them
