Maybe that group have just gone on holiday 😂
NI have started with the vaccine passports and will be offering 16/17yr old the jabs in line with the JCVI recommendation … great thumbnail 😂

this all feels like a bad comedy sketch.
you need to take this new vaccine, or you might lose all your basic rights like travel, freedom of movement, freedom to Nando’s.

but that vaccine won’t stop you getting sick, or passing on a virus, but still, you need it,
oh also you probably need 3. But let’s move on.......

the elderly are the cohort we need to protect, kids are fine, they don’t get sick, they don’t pass on the virus, they’re protected by the magical school force field when we decide that’s the case.... but we might change out minds on that a pull them out of school for 3/8 months, who knows.
when we send them back we’ll keep saying they’re safe,

as time goes on we‘ll introduce these new variants, a variant means we can change the goal posts on both the rules and vaccine,
when we launch a new variant we can push opening back,
we can decide that the gap we needed at the beginning between jab one and two (when we didn’t have the stock levels available) can change,
we can, within a few months decide that 12 year olds need the vaccine just as much as the 92 year olds.

while all this is happening numerous members of government can do what they like, go where they like, shag who they like, travel where they like,

Case numbers, fuck knows where we get them from,
deaths, put covid down anyway, scare a few more people into getting that vaccine, should we throw in pizza..... Uber, oh that’s a good one.

I wanna watch this show 😕
Saw this earlier definitely sums it up

They’ll be starting ASAP with a what to look out for…fills me with dread.

Another article which will soon be pulled like the teenage myocarditis one, the Mayo clinic have done a study and Pfizer is only 40 percent effective of protecting you from covid, modera higher at 70 something. Also J and J has been pulled from the market apparently. These vaccines will soon be useless, people I know are getting covid double vaccinated not the rare breakthrough infection they make out is it loads have it.
Can you link the study please?

Yes, but they will only know if you are exempt if they ask to see your covid pass/proof of neg test and then you say "actually, I'm exempt." You aren't having to prove you're exempt, but you still have to tell them.
They could of worn a visual card saying they were exempt in which case they wouldn’t of asked them. In the instance you’re referring to though I think someone else said they were asked, in which case they would have responded and said they’re exempt and they’d of been free to pass,

From July 19 to August 2, 55.1 percent of the 1,467 people hospitalised with the Delta variant were unvaccinated, PHE said, while 34.9 percent – or 512 people – had received two doses.
Ok my numbers were a bit out of date. The point still stands. A 10% minority making up 55% of hospitalisations.

Does anybody know whether effectiveness of the vaccine will be lower after 12 weeks? My friend has his first jab 12 weeks ago, but since then he was undecided about getting the 2nd jab due to misinformation and scaremongering basically.

Now he's decided he thinks he wants to get the second one. What is the efficacy of taking the second jab over the 12 week mark? I haven't been able to find out exactly.
I would definitely get them to check with a GP, not sure what the cut off is but at some point they go back to start again and you have to have vaccine 1 then 2 because it’s been left too long

Monga I'm not being funny but I'm sure you must spend your entire day searching for the most morbid Corona articles you can find, everytime I see one of your posts I know I am about to be depressed, hahahahahah 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
It's just whats on the MSM I can't find any pos stories can you point me in the right direction 😂...Maybe it's time to close down the rona thread as there's nothing to post that's not antivaxx or jab related in the media .

My old local hospital (I have since moved) was build as a temporary hospital for WW2. It cannot cope generally, it shouldn’t still be standing but they were thinking of closing the nearest hospital and leaving it to then take the demand of two. Absurd.

They were working and under government rules they were allowed. So would you if you were attending a conference that needed to go ahead.

I’m sick of this they can do stuff we can’t, it isn’t as black and white as that. They are there on official work therefore it wasn’t the same as Karen getting her yearly holiday to Benidorm in.
I think merging two hospitals into one is usually because it’s easier to staff one hospital and have all the specialists under one roof because there’s a growing shortage of health care workers and it’s not able to meet the demands so rather than having a hospital in every area they have main hospitals more widespread if that makes sense. Then they open up hubs for things like minor injuries and out of hours to cater to meet the needs of the communities.

i agree the do as I say not as I do mantra doesn’t sit well with me! They’re all cunts!

Yea sounds like a lot to me, I’ve grown up in the countryside our local hospital is 15-20 mile away seems bizarre to me that there would be a need for 3 hospitals in a 15 mile radius but if the population warranted it I guess it would make sense!
Yeah there is takes about 10 minutes to do 3 miles so the hospitals aren’t close at all.

I live further out now, and there certainly aren’t as many here.

A billion pounds being spent for booster jabs for Autumn 2022 at £22 a pop up from £18. Pfizer are getting greedy and with Autumn boosters the next two years being Pfizer we seem to have binned off our own sold at cost AZ.

If you’re going to mention me ensure you’re being accurate please. I said what professor pollard did, that vaccines aren’t doing what we need them to be doing and that they won’t reach herd immunity. I never once said they don’t do anything, in fact I said the opposite. I stated they have lessened symptoms and saved lives.

please leave me out of the cattiness.
In your comment regarding what that Prof said you stated (his words) “the vaccine failing to prevent transmission…” and my reply to that was that the vaccines do reduce transmission to a certain extent (something like 60% from what I read). I never once said it was YOUR view and I have never said you say the opposite.

I think the four nations implement their own policies , Wales are bringing the isolation policy in a week before England and NI hasn't dropped any of the measures yet . I see Lewis Hamilton has long covid he had to get medical treatment at the Grand Prix so it seems to be getting more common
Yes but vaccines is something I don't think they have much choice on the jcvi represents all 4 nations if the UK.
We purchased the vaccines as a group the distributed proportionatly.
Ni tricky as roi is vaccinating teens and Ireland have caught up with uk vaccination day.
