I'll be honest, I have 'misbehaved' during one minute silences. And I'm not sorry about it. George Best is not worthy of any respect and I stand by that.

Liverpool. Can they win all 4?

Nah, rivalries are the lifeblood of football but when there’s a minutes silence for something or someone - you shut the duck up.
Obviously they should. But it rarely happens from the ones I’ve seen so surely something else where it’ll be respected imo would be better. Don’t know what they’d do but I’m sure someone could think of something.
I think a minutes applause would be best too. 95% of applauding fans would drown out 5% of twats.

When I was staying up near Manchester, I knew a United fan and a Liverpool fan. The Liverpool fan thought the plane gestures and calling United “Munichs” was banter and the United fan would be the guy to sing during the Hillsborough silence and comment “no one cares lol” on posts about it…but they’d both think the other was out of order.

Neither of them got the hypocrisy, like you’re both crappy human beings.

I know like 99% of Liverpool and United fans are not like these two btw and yes, Wolves have hole fans too.
Every fan base does. It’s like when a few city fans did plane gesture for Munich even though an ex city player died in the disaster. As I said above obviously they should be respected but minutes silences with thousands of people there’s probably always going to be someone/minority group that ruins it. So why not do something where them people won’t be heard because the majority of people won’t agree with them. Every year there is something about silences being ruined I just googled ‘Ibrox disaster silence’ And there seems to be an article from a lot of years where people have ruined it.

I'll be honest, I have 'misbehaved' during one minute silences. And I'm not sorry about it. George Best is not worthy of any respect and I stand by that.

Really hope not. I’m glad city at least drew in the PL, I think we deserved to win that game. If only Steffen didn’t make the mistake today. But I think out of the last few games for city todays was the least important. I’d rather have lost today than in the pl Liverpool game last week or have lost vs athletico. I hope United beat Liverpool next week but saying I want united to win 🤮

They are just bleeping scumbags; and what really gets me is the united fans should do a bit of research and understand just how much Fergie and Charlton did for us after Hillsborough, and as for the scum who claim to support my team- they should also do some research and learn abit about the link Busby had to us.

My family has been personally impacted by the Hillsborough tragedy so im quite sensitive to it so i do hold my views on the 'fans' who mock it. Just scumbags, luckily i know plenty of mancs- i mean real mancs- manchester born and bred, none of those 'cockney mancs' who are respectful and who have been horrified by today. So im glad i know some decent people no matter what football team they claim to support.... btw im sure there are some nice cockney mancs out there, i just havent met any yet, and unfortunately the ones i have met seem to be the biggest gobshites of them all. But as i said, im sure there are some nice ones out there.

Exactly to me, people like the Utd and the Liverpool fan I knew are just pathetic. It doesn’t make you a die hard fan to sing about people dying.

The hypocrisy is insane- i don’t get how some fans expect total respect when it comes to their club then laugh at the other like I do not get it.

I cannot stand West Brom, like hate them, genuinely laughed when they got relegated, called my friend who supports them and sang “Going down” but if that happened to them, I wouldn’t think “haha that’s so funny”. It would be awful because they’re human beings.

Like I know it’s not the same but as an example when i heard some West Ham fans were singing/laughing at the WBA player who lost his kid, jfc my heart went out to him. Had it been Wolves fans, I’d have felt bleeping sick

My bf’s Palace too hahah, I of course want them to win even though they beat us to be at Wembley today! I got offered a ticket but it was in the upper and my boyfriends in the lower so instead i’m sat cuddling my baby nephew in his Palace kit with my bf’s palace scarf over him 😂💙❤

Derby County relegated today. One of my favourite recent footballing memories is when they gave us a guard of honour after we won the title. We then battered them on the pitch while still drunk from our celebrations.

Football is shite! Unless you are Newcastle and have been brought out by rich owners. No offence meant to any Newcastle fans!

I never thought Everton would go down even when I knew they were in trouble. But looking at the remaining fixtures I think they will. Hope they prove me wrong and win tomorrow 😄

I would love it if stopcrying Frank Lampard got relegated. And Everton voted for Leeds poimt deduction despite the fact it would have no bearing whatsoever on their league position. We don't forget. Burnley and Watford supported us so if Everton went down instead of one of those that would be peachy.

It would be hard for the fans but the Championship is waaaaaay more fun than the Premier League though, especially when you are the big fish. No VAR, no top six bias and if Everton can keep the spine of their squad together you'll probably win more games than you lose andvaway games at proper stadiums not at generic bowls of ground devoid of any history or atmosphere. But it's rarely as easy as being relegated and bouncing back again the next season.

I have no idea on Everton's financial situation and what impact relegation would have on them in that respect though.

The scenes at Oldham are so sad. But good for the fans.
I heard about this. I feel so awful for them. I think it needs to be the 50+1 rule here, where clubs have to have a majority of fan shareholders…it would surely help protect clubs from parasitic owners

Ahhh see I HATE being in the championship. It’s been a while since we’ve been in it mind but I’ve always found it so boring. I don’t know a lot about the regular championship clubs so I’ve felt lost when we’ve been down there in the past.

I would love Everton to go down, just because Big fat frank is a twit 😅

Go on Burnley! 💜💙👊🏻

Now we just need Liverpool to put Everton and stopcryingfat Frank in their place for a great afternoon of football. Nothing like YNWA before the derby game.

@Peaches_xox Did you go to many games in the Championship/lower leagues? Nothing beats walking through Freda the Football Fans house to gain access to the away end at Kennilworth Road or the police escort through the tunnel to get to The New Den or that away end at Blackpool. Proper grounds and no sanitised bowls.

Plus literally any teams can be in the top 6, no offence to our resident Luton fan but who predicted them spending any time in the top six, seriously?

Different strokes for different folks 😘.

I can’t see Peaches enjoying a trip to the New Den 😉 but you’re right, I did enjoy a lot of the championship grounds and games, less predictable as well but the eagerness to get out as soon as possible does ruin the enjoyment a bit! Europa anxiety and playoffs anxiety… all part and parcel of it I guess! Won’t complain 😅

Everton going down and not having VAR are the only plus sides of us going down!

We are the sort of club who allows our Footballing Director, to swan off up Everest during the whole of the January's transfer window..The said person also gets his wife onto the board, ie another Delia yes person and makes remarks in a newspaper interview before a game saying that he told them he wanted to leave but could give them 90% of his effort if they wanted him to stay!
