It’s not their job to diagnose anything. They shouldn’t speculate and certainly shouldn’t be naysaying actual diagnoses after the fact.
DCD is very different from Autism.
You should be grateful that the school got the ball rolling for you. They didn’t diagnose him, they expressed concerns. Do you realise how many are labelled’naughty’ or ‘troublesome’ rather than school seeking support

Wasn't a fan of her documentary last night but I suppose it raised awareness of autism. The kids faces being shown would have drawn people in more to the story being told and at times autism seem to come second to bigging up what amazing parents her and Paddy are.
I wouldn’t want my kids faces being shown either to be fair

I find her irritating on Real Housewives of Cheshire, she comes across as dull and not the brightest individual. She does seem desparate to become friends with as many Z listers as possible

I feel like no one is talking about this, no one is asking about it. She just keeps volunteering this information that no one really cares about.

People are flawed, maybe Christine took up these money making opportunities because she wanted to, not because she needed to work. Maybe she felt like she needed to do something for herself instead of “just” be a Mum and carer to three autistic kids. Who could blame her?

I’ve never watched an episode of Real Housewives so I can’t comment on her behaviour on that, but I bet she’d watched different series and decided she could emulate that?

Like you say @TwooTwooTwitTwitTwoo, just because most autistic women would run a mile from a beauty pageant or reality TV, it doesn’t mean that Christine isn’t autistic. Aren’t pageants really formulaic? She was a pretty girl who learned to play the part. Probably not that hard really.

Apparently she never discussed with Paddy if he had an affair with Nicole Appleton or not….she choose to sweep the situation under the carpet, say nothing and continue on with her marriage…..like fuck I would 😤
It's very common (sadly) for people on the spectrum to be easily manipulated, gas lighted etc, I would give her the benefit of the doubt that she probably just got on with it. Plus with 3 kids also on the spectrum who thrive on routine and stability you'd break your own heart 1st before you'd walk away.
Saying that also read it was Holly! Either way Paddy's a twat.

It’s all a convenient ‘story’ to keep the exposure up, Chelcee did exactly the same thing with Megan Barton-Hanson to get tabloid interest for them both.

Surprised fellow pretend lesbian Amber Gill hasn’t been linked with Christine yet!

New to this thread. But Christine's starting to do my head in. I used to like her & thought she was a brilliant mum when I watched her & paddy documentary but since shes split from paddy she never seems to have her kids. Shes always on nights out or on holiday

Me too - I’ve mentioned this earlier in her thread.

A while back Christine’s was on This Morning and she described her behaviours that lead to her being diagnosed Autistic. She said she was a recluse for 7 years and missed out on lots of life due to her being unable to socialise and unable leave the house. When would of this 7 years been? She’s 33 now and has been on the glamour/model scene since she was a young teenager, after she won Miss Liverpool she had a glamour/model/tv career, met, dated and married Paddy then had kids. It doesn’t add up
Mentioning this topic can evoke strong opinions on here — but I share your scepticism. Not that autism is real, or that it can present in multiple ways — of course not. But I do query elements of Christine’s account of her experience, specifically, let’s put it that way.

As actual lesbian myself, well as for the “lesbian” titillation “are they or aren’t they” stuff and the clearly inviting paps to Winter Wonderland to get the pics… I mean good grief, what year is it… we’re still doing this are we.

I find them both annoying but at least he got himself a career whereas there's no reason at all for her to be known to any of us. It would be great if she actually did more raising awareness for autism but she seems to care more about getting those pap shots of herself.

I couldn't imagine having a platform and wasting it like that but it's endemic of all these wannabes. Feel for their kids.

I don’t agree. As a parent to an autistic child, she has done nothing.
Thanks
Agree. My life as a mother of one kid with two kids with ASD looks nothing like hers. I have been on two holidays in the last 18 years. And they were horrendous. They’d probably be easier now but still very hard work. What she presents as reality of life really looks nothing like the lives I see of mine or other parents of kids with ASD. So how useful is it to publicise that as reality?

As a fan of RHOC, I physically cringed at any part with Christine in. She’s a few sandwiches short of a picnic. The other women (admittedly not much better) must have discussed this privately... she’s not just daft, she’s vacant.

Never liked Kirsty, she’s a tramp.
She was a goddamn awful sports tv presenter I know that much. Another nepo-baby (Her father was a vaguely famous golfer), when you listen to her speak she sounds completely ignorant. Her, Paddy and Christine have about 1 brain cell between them from what I can tell.

I have 2 adult children on the spectrum but I do believe that diagnoses are chased when the real problem is just bad behaviour and poor parenting. But we are not allowed to say this.

i think you can tell in her mannerisms and eye contact that shes on the spectrum
Yep. I empathise a lot with Christine because I have two autistic kids, and had no inkling of my own neurodivergence until I understood theirs. The way she describes her anxiety and masking is just like my life.

I'm sure the children would benefit from having parents who were focused on them rather than on themselves and their desire for fame at all costs.

I’ve always liked Christine …..don’t come at me lol 😂 but I see her and I see other insta accounts of parents with children with autism or disabilities and it sticks in my throat a bit they are always out on the razzle dazzle ….I have a child with additional needs and I wish I had 1% of their social lives …..I’d love a night out with my partner kid free, my childs in her teens and I can count on one hand the times we’ve had a night alone….and there’s spare bloody fingers 😳

She really was beautiful before she had work done. It reminds me of Faryal Makkdon (Mrs Amir Khan) a natural beauty who has gone and got more surgery each time her husband has cheated
