Even when I was a Carrie fan I never would have gone to one of her concerts, the charisma to pull off a solo night isn’t there.

Not gonna lie, career wise this tour is probably the best choice for next year. This way she won’t have to audition right after giving birth and she has a guaranteed income stream that will give her a nice half year break.
Maybe she can drop the anxiety bullshit now. 🙄

If the baby is gonna be apart of the show, is Carrie going to count for child labor laws? Is she going to have a child chaperone? Is he baby going to be paid for the work that she does, even if she is literally a human prop? I don’t think that Carrie has thought this through at all.

Oh please. The LAST thing we should be doing here is getting into a formula vs breast debate. Really, really, let’s not. Plus that’s a wild thing to throw out that you can just purchase enough breastmilk to sustain a growing infant if you’re not able to produce it yourself. Unless you’ve got a wet nurse locked in the basement, then, no. It’s not a thing.
People do it, You'd be surprised. Its easy if you are ultra-loaded.
I'm sure whichever MT actor is staying them at the time will also be a live-in babysitter
Thats how she will do it! She won't hire a nanny she will just say oh sorry poor actor friend, thats your rent!

Tell that to the government who only allow a man 2 weeks off for paternity!

Going back to work after a baby is a massive thing, speaking as someone who worked from home in my last pregnancy and I’m on maternity leave currently and will be going back to an office based job and I’m absolutely DREADING it. I feel like her planning to go on a tour when she has no clue what life is gonna be like with a baby, while still being currently pregnant, is just weird and putting so much unecessary pressure on herself. Post partum depression can pop up when you least expect it, I thought I dodged it then 8 months post partum it hit me in a v hard way. I just dunno why she’s just not done a one off show so she can do #soldoutthepalladium again
And actually be eligible for a WOS award as a one off concert when that’s evidently so important to her

Oh my God have you guys listened to this!? 😂 Why is Joel doing voice reels about cows in a southern US accent—am I missing something??

How bizarre that she wouldn’t want to take as much time as possible to enjoy her family in the new baby bubble before going back to work. Even before the tour starts she’ll have rehearsals so will actually be more time out of the house than just the scheduled dates. Plus if she is taking baby on the road with her this means that Joel will also be missing out on quality time with his child in the first time of its life. I think his job is done in terms of helping her tick off husband and baby on her life check list.

Also, even though they are cringy I think it’s very evident that in every aspect of being and actor, singer, performer, dancer and teacher Joel is much more skilled and talented … but still a gross creep.

Off topic but watching her live rn and her hair looks so much better in darker lighting bc it looks almost brown, I think she would really suit being a brunette
But no, let’s go for Chucky red :) :) :)

Do they? Here in the U.K.? Because I’ve maternity-nannied in some pretty wealthy circles and I’m yet to come across a rented milk nurse. It’s not 1543. I don’t think the ethics stack up.

In Ireland you can definitely become a breast milk donor so there must be some market for it but I think it’s to hospitals and parents who consent. I can’t imagine them buying it for home use but I could be very wrong.

Yeah you can donate breast milk for sure, there’s a huge demand for it for premature babies especially. Not sure you can hire your own milking woman to meet all your baby’s nutritional needs though.

ANYWAY, Carrie wouldn’t be able to afford it on her seat-filler tour money 😂

I don't think the kid is literally working on stage with her. I just think it will travel from town to town as she does.

She basically just talked about touring locations and boring details on her Live. She did say she'd be trying to do stage door "as much as humanly possible" but that it would be "baby-dependent". Nothing spoken about the logistics of travelling with a newborn to so many locations (and about whether Joel would be joining), even though plenty of people were asking in the comments.

So happy for Carrie that the baby will provide her with additional drama as to why she can’t do stage door. Can’t wait for the patronizing rants about this. We all know that megastar Carrie needs entire roads to be closed down and a police escort when she does stage door, so I’m sure, with Minime Montague in tow she might get military support to meet the demands of the thousands of people who will wait for her 😁

I know what you mean. I considered going to An Open Book as there were plenty of tickets left 😏 but decided not to as I thought it sounded a bit dull, this one sounds even more boring (to me anyway).

Ridiculously off topic I know, but yeah I’ve seen many an online group where people buy or get donated breast milk from others. 🫣 it’s pumped milk not a full on wet nurse but who knows, those could be out there too.
