Plenty of accomplished female musical theatre singers have taken huge breaks to raise their kids or get them well started and then come back as if they'd never been away. Although maybe you do have to be a certain standard and have a sane and normal fan following to pull it off.

I’m gonna be that judgy person, but it’s bleeping selfish to have a baby travelling so much when you don’t need it. It’s not like she is starving and needs this tour to survive.
For someone that claims to have wanted kids her entire life, she sure does seem to wanna get out of it very quickly. Seeing how she can afford it, she should take at least an entire year off work to get a bit of a grip on parenting, build up a routine and enjoy her baby etc.

Really surprised about the tour news, considering she did nothing but moan all through the last one. Maybe because no other work lined up and worried about fading completely into mt obscurity?
Until the baby comes and reality hits, Carrie is going to keep booking work with a sunshine and rainbows attitude. Promoters, management etc won't be able to question or comment on her pregnant/new mum status because that would be discrimination. She's being dumb, and will definitely pull out of a bunch of shows, but no one can call her out on it.
I would love to be a fly on a wall travelling round the country with carrie and a small baby. How is she going to cope with the baby screaming their head off and not wanting to settle? Especially since they seem to have not really grouped together the dates very well.
