I'm autistic and I'm convinced she is. She fixated on things.

I’ve never been to an appointment that I’ve needed to bring the letter with me? And I’ve got multiple health conditions so I’m at the hospital at least once a month for some test or treatment. There’s got to be more to this story

Yeah same. As I've said further up I've literally never bought the letter.

Probably expected the receptionist to simply know on sight that she was Carrie Hope Fletcher, West End Superstar? "Don't you know who I am?"

“He handed me a drink and didn’t tell me what to do”.

I mean it’s a drink…. I don’t think a 32 year old woman needs a drink explained to her.

also why didn’t she say ”I don’t have my letter but I have it on badgernotes?” Usually I’ll show my drs the email letter and I’ve never had any issue with it

Glucose tests are performed in all pregnant women. Still she wouldn’t be eating that much crap haha.
In England they aren’t done as standard - only if you have risk factors which indicate you need one. I’ve had more than one pregnancy and never had a glucose test.

I couldn't even finish reading that rant. Awful, awful person who has no idea how the world works, in every situation. And someone who doesn't fall onto their knees and doesnt even recognize her? She clearly cant deal with that either.

It's quite telling that she only puts these kind of stories on for her subscribers - they're more likely to be die hard fans who kiss her ass rather than people who would challenge her

Yeah I've had 3 babies in the last 6 years and never had to "drink a drink" so was confused by this!
That’s the test you do to confirm if you have gestational diabetes.

It would be a miracle if she didn’t have it. She’s extremely overweight and eats garbage (looking at all the donuts, cakes and Starbucks drinks she posts all the time).

Jesus Christ she’s so pathetic. If true, it’s not very nice that the doctor treated her like that, but a whole rant on instagram is insane. Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe it was the sixth forgotten appointment letter he’d seen in a couple of hours and he was tired. Maybe, regardless of the reason he did it, a doctor being mildly annoyed isn’t a big deal. Nothing to write whiny essays about.

For what it’s worth, I think she’s significantly exaggerating. For one thing, the end of her story makes no sense. Why did the other patient he was nice to walk straight up to him without an appointment letter without having checked in first? Also, in every doctors’ office and hospital I’ve been to, you leave the GP in their room and walk out/back to reception on your own. There would be no opportunity for another patient to jump in or meet the doctor on the way..

Carrie and Joel really are one and the same. They both think that any inconvenience or slightly negative encounter needs to be shared in a rant on social media. Joel does it in hopes he‘s told some corporation off in a way that they get immediately back to him and apologize (Apple, IcelandicAir, Instagram…). Carrie does it so her Hatefuls will tell hoher how right she is and confirm that she’s done nothing wrong. Both are pathetic.

Glucose tests aren’t performed on all pregnant women in UK, only if there are risks i.e. BMI, age, history, size of baby.

So the Dr handed her the glucose drink and only through her own research she knew to drink the drink 🤦🏻‍♀️ she’s such an entitled brat. She’s having a baby yet wants to be babied through every aspect of life 🙈
Then it changes depending on the country, my bad 🥲.

So she’s got a glucose test so clearly there’s concern about gestational diabetes and yet she’s been eating doughnuts and all that crap in Disney and Vegas 🙄 so selfish of her!

(I have a history of diabetes in my family so midwife has booked a glucose test for me and I’ve been so careful ever since so may be a bit grumpy about this)
Came here to say the same thing, it’s because she’s overweight she’s having to have this test now.

Here’s some other random boring tit she shared pre-rant but I wanted to post that first.

I don’t know about you, but I’d be mortified if I’d been drawn like this when that was blatantly not my body type 😬 I know fashion illustrations tend to be drawn stylistically, but this is a costume designed with Carrie as the model, and the drawing is of HER, and that is absolutely not what she looked like at the time.

She posted this two days ago so the 25 weeks tomorrow applies to yesterday—16/11. Not sure if she’s saying that’s when she conceived or that’s when she found out??

I find the pregnancy test very very VERY triggering. I'm glad I'm not subscribed.

25 weeks means 25 weeks from last menstrual period, or the dates slightly shifted depending on how the baby is measuring. It’s not from when she found out.

And their daughter will turn out the exact same way

I've been talked to like absolute dirt by NHS staff before. There are certain NHS professionals that make assumptions based on age, gender (probably also weight) so I've been called a hysterial little girl and ignored over and over again until I ended up in A&E.

So either 1. Carrie was alone and the other woman had someone else with her so the health professional had to be more professional and they are indeed a bleep. 2. Carrie turned up looking like a bag lady eating donuts and this was less than a good impression 3. Carrie showed up late or was otherwise being difficult so the health professional decided to give her a hard time about the letter.

I always get NHS letters for specialist appointments btw. Often the reception for specific departments like physio isn't manned, so you go sit in waiting room B or whatever and a nurse or someone takes your letter.
