Hey girls long time lurker first time poster.
I follow a couple of the ensemble members of Cinderella on insta and I just noticed Carrie doesn’t follow most of them but other principals do. Find that very strange. Is it because she’s the lead now she won’t associate herself with people who aren’t the stars? After so many weeks of rehearsal I just... it’s weird isn’t it or am I overreacting?
You watch now I’ve mentioned it carrie will suddenly follow them all and post about them

No matter how "humble" and "down to earth" she tries to claim she is, she absolutely looks down on her understudy and other cast members.
It’s possible that the actors that follow them perhaps knew them from previous jobs. And Carrie might not know them well enough yet, maybe? I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt here.Hey girls long time lurker first time poster.

Didn’t some of the cast went drinking without Carrie? I follow Lauren and there were instastories with others cast members but nothing from Carrie. (i think this was like maybe 2 nights ago?)
I’m actually genuinely surprised she’s wearing a wig for Cinderella. I’d have thought they’d want to play into the Carrie cash-cow image as much as possible like heathers did
Yeah I noticed that too, all of them socialising and then Carrie not there.
She’s the person who arrives at the bar after everyone is already a bit drunk “because she’s so busy”, orders a coffee and wants to get in on all the ensemble gossip Because she wants to feel like there’s a connection. There’s no connection.
I see it a bit differently to most, if it’s meant to be horrible people calling Cinderella horrible words then it makes sense that they be outdated horrible terms from small minded people. Then again it’s ALW, maybe I’m giving him too much credit

He obviously just looked in a rhyming dictionary and dialled this one in

There's an Instagram story that she reposted from Giovanni Spano, him her and Vinny Coyle appear to have gone on a triple date bowling this weekend. Maybe it was the same night. I'm willing to give Carrie the benefit of the doubt that they already had this planned as you'd probably need to if your partners are coming, going out for drinks with cast mates seems like it could be more spontaneous.

the stories she reposted seemed like they could have been from last night but Lauren’s were for the night before or even Friday since they are no longer in her stories
I just saw A Promising Young Woman which Emerald Fennell directed, and I can't believe someone who can make such a great movie can make/endorse something like Cinderella..? Unfathomable to me
And it won an Oscar mad that she wrote this Cinderella aswell, also she played Camilla in the crown
Yeah, she's done so many great things, I don't understand what's going on with Cinderella... :/
I’m going to see it in July. I really want to see the alternate Cinderella because she’ll probably make the effort to play the actual role of Cinderella. Whereas watching Carrie play Cinderella will just be like watching Carrie play herself. Because she can’t act. But I’ll give a spoiler-free review of the show if you all like!
(If anyone is wondering why I’m going, it’s because I just like musicals and I’m on an Emerald Fennell hype. I’m also seeing a few other shows that week and me and my friends got overexcited when theatres reopened and we booked more than we could afford.

I’m seeing an evening performance on 24th so I think that will be a couple of weeks after opening night. No, won’t listen to the soundtrack. I’ve listened to ‘I Know I Have a Heart’ and ‘Far Too Late’. First song I thought was okay, just couldn’t understand half the words. Second song was awful, not gonna lie. Haven’t listened to the others, would rather see the songs in context. I’m intrigued to see what I think of it as the only ALW musicals I like are Cats and Phantom.
I notice the Belleville map has a "Library of Unread Books" and "Convent for Unsightly Women."* Carrie must be in her absolute element she is soooooooooooooo Not Like The Other Girls
