Caroline Hirons #9 No. I did like her in the past, now I think she's an oaf

I buy the DDG pads, the red ones, extra strength i think. I get 5 pads for about £18 and would use once a week, don't anymore, giving it a rest, bloody great stuff though. Sometimes I manage to get at least 3 pads from the space nk girls for nothing heeheehee! But I have a brass neck.

Why is this being sold as Skin Rocks and not Caroline Hirons? I don't understand why she has 2 brands to sell the same thing.

She is so disgustingly greedy. I couldn’t buy anything from her, even if it was the best deal going.

Off topic slightly, but her constant fiddling with her hair and collar, the fidgeting in her seat and the strange face pulling bugs me. I assume it’s her ADHD, in which case she can’t help it and I work with primary children some of whom have it but I just can’t with her.

It is ADHD, it’s part of the hyperactivity my niece is just recently diagnosed she’s 18

I do think the box makes zero sense and it’s expensive
£70 for barely any acids is pricey

My guess is that looking at the #gifted boxes she’s been sending out she’s targeting Gen Z (having already rinsed millennials and Gen X of any disposable cash or shelf space). They won’t want to be buying skincare from a furious granny hence the ‘hey kids, you rock’ thing. This will gives the brands she works with a new route to market to younger consumers.

This makes total sense, the products are gentle and the people used to advertise them are way younger than I am.

I agree with this. My brother has a skin condition and his dermatologist actually recommended Sun bed use weekly in the winter - less than 6 mins a week but still recommended it. Dermatologists recommend light therapy for skin conditions so those blind CH followers know nothing. Im pretty sure CH isn’t even a dermatologist
If you don't mind me asking, which skin condition does he suffer from and what kind of sunbeds are used? Also the other poster who mentioned this? I know psoriasis is sometimes treated with different types of medical phototherapy, but they're using specialist medical sunbeds, one purely UVB, and there's a kind of UVA-only treatment which is actually really quite risky, to eyes and in terms of skin cancer. Commercial sunbeds aren't used at all. There's some info on this on the NHS page about the disease:

Psoriasis - Treatment - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

I have a history with dermatologists myself, partly due to very bad rosacea at one point (now mostly resolved) and the one thing every single consultant I saw hammered at was use of daily high SPF facial sunscreen, and broad brimmed hats and sun avoidance if skin was too sensitive to tolerate any (which it was at one point). So I've been using daily face and neck sunscreen pretty regularly for 15 years a[art from times when the skin barrier was too messed up to tolerate it, and it definitely has preserved my skin and absolutely improved my skintone. I take a Vitamin D supplement anyway, 4000iu a day. I started with that after a doctor friend from southern Europe advised that low Vitamin D levels are associated with a lot of auto-immune issues (that I have issues with and that are rather common in the UK) and that it's unlikely even most light-skinned people in the UK get enough from sun whether they wear sunscreen or not simply due to our climate and latitude, as well as modern lifestyle. He's from a notoriously hot and sunny country and had his own levels tested and found they were too low, so take a supplement himself now and just laughs at the idea we up here at our northern latitudes can really get enough from natural light.

I said frogs in boiling water but actually I think increasing acid strengths makes more sense 🤣

Oooh we have some doubters within the freaks or at the very least freaks with a good memory, maybe someone made a spreadsheet to keep track of approved brands. Caroline what have you done to these people, your private freaks group is little more than a dictatorship.

I would love to know what the criteria is for ‘admin turned off comments for this post’ is - it seems to be done on every other post! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Turned off by the thought police. They remove and punish people for anything not "approved"
All designed to line the Queens pockets and keep them nodding along at her Internet rants.
Yip, its straight outta the pages of dystopian fiction.
