Also, I don't get how she complains that youtube doesn't have enough representation for her demographic. So if that's the case, why remove yourself? Surely you should be the change you want to be!

Her whole appeal in the beginning was that she wasn’t like the other YouTubers. She was an older woman targeting an audience that needed someone like her. They didn’t want a 20 year old with perfect skin telling them what products to use for aging.

I think the reality is that a lot of that older audience don’t trust her opinion anymore. She’s forever shilling her mate’s brands, encouraging people to spend excessive amounts, making disparaging comments about cheaper options and writing off brands that don’t worship her. Training is all well and good but with enough passion, there are people out there who can gain more up to date knowledge than someone with training from the 90’s.

Completely agree with this Milly. I've lost faith in her for those very reasons. When she tries to sell me something I immediately ask myself what her relationship with the brand is, are they a personal friend or paying her. I want impartial, transparent advice and Hirons has shown herself incapable of such. If I am thinking like this and I know many others here do too then once the freaks take notice its all over.
On a separate note I quite like the menopausal sweatshirt but why does she need to talk about menopause in such a negative way. Its a difficult time I'm sure but what she's putting forth is yet another negative stereotype of women.

She came at Kendall Jenner when Estee Lauder used her for their skincare products, EL was trying to get into the young audience

Hirons is crap because if she was serious about catering to the 40s plus, she wpuld have done the work

But she continued to work with Pixi, and others who are not really catered for 40 plus, heck maybe not even 30 plus

Again, this YT move is driven by money, perhaps she sees her audience is not that many on YT and will focus on Instagram as she sees more views / engagement there

She shouldnt be blaming ppl, YT will work for you if you have a niche and know who your audience is

40+ crowd isnt sitting on instagram all day waiting for your lives and IGTV, so she knows exactly what she is doing. This is a money move not a because T is saturated move

She expects to have the largest amount of followers in a short amount of time, she fails to mention how these “gay boys” have been on youtube for years and have built their audience over time... same with any youtuber not just beauty or skincare. She sounds like a spoilt child throwing her toys out the pram.

clearly didnt enjoy making the videos, so be gone you wont be missed on youtube.

oh and a woman who is very biased on certain brands and fail to mention any other. I am okay i will not be following her to get any skincare advise

Nothing is ever Caroline's fault, ever. It's the 'gay boys' fault, brands, the beauty industry, the women supposedly attacking other women, her audience for misunderstanding her homophobic comments and so on.

Whipping the freaks into a frenzy and the kit show is not her fault either, it's IT, it's the agency, it's the people that recommended the agency, it's the freaks fault for asking for updates when she only has 5 staff. I could go on and on

I vaguely recall her being filmed in a treatment room years ago with a laser machine alongside her and didn’t she have 1-1 appointments where she charged £60 for each client? again it’s a vague recollection.
She actually charged much more if I remember correctly! It was at Teresa Tarmey in London, but I don't think she used the laser machine herself...

Anyway I did go get a facial there years ago since it was (maybe still is?) on her blog in the list of places to get treatments.

PS: long time lurker, hi everyone!

She also forgot to mention how those “boys” have put in the work and consistently created regular new content. A lot of her IG lives are just her chatting to her followers with no beauty news or product reviews. If you look at James Welsh he’s released 10 videos in the past month. I don’t think CH has managed to do the same in the past year. Being an early vlogger gave her a huge advantage but she couldn’t be bothered to continue putting the work in.

I thought she was taking a swipe at James Welsh the whole time. Thought the same about his YouTube - he clearly puts in the work. I don't think he's ever claimed to be qualified either, just likes skincare. Is that so wrong?! Guess so where Caroline is concerned 🙄

I thought she was having a pop at James he has never claimed to be a skincare expert and makes it clear its his views. He also puts effort to update his and viewers knowledge on skincare. He also highlights the issues of filters in social media. She clearly has no respect as the Welsh twins mentioned her on their podcast quite nicely.

I didn't think James Welsh I thought she was talking about Hyram. Hyram calls himself a 'skincare specialist' which was his job title at work. Also I think she said 'white gay boys' and James isn't white.

I think CH can't be bothered with YouTube because it doesn't rake the cash in like her kits do and whilst she could pay someone to edit her videos she probably wouldn't see a return.

The kits drive people to her blog where they will find her posts with affiliate links and pop out to buy the book. The Instagram lives and her reposting if people talking about her in their stories make Jane Bloggs start to tag her in their stories and post to get her attention and a repost and then their friends start might following her increasing her audience and the market for the kits.

I don't know much about Hyram in all honesty, that's why I assumed James as he's also from the UK and likely on her radar. I guess my point is these guys have clearly put in the work into their channels and she's throwing barbs for little reason. I get she's frustrated with people calling themselves "experts" but Hyram (and James to an extent) appeal to a very different audience than Caroline's, and there's space for all of them.

Except she tends to SUCK ALL the air out of the room, leaving very little oxygen or light🤣😉😳

She mentioned Hyram then quickly said it wasn’t about him specifically, yeah right Caroline!

She referenced Hyrams in the cliff video and someone else possibly James. She alluded to Hyram not being honest with his followers because she could just tell that he wanted to speak negatively about a product but wouldn't (Miranda Kerr?) She said the same about the other person.
Caroline on the other hand did not care and trashed brands. She has issues.

Caroline isn't honest either. There's issues with the Oskia at the moment which has quite obviously gone off or is faulty yet she keeps saying "it's fine" or "I think it's fine" - no. You've been paid so that's where she wants to leave it. She doesn't want the hassle of having to rectify things. If she had received a gone off product she would go off on one.

She 100% was talking about Hyram but is too much of a coward to upset his very rabid fan base. Most of his fans are young teens who adore Hyram, and they would absolutely come for her if she would specifically criticise him. But he is the only one who calls himself a specialist without having any qualifications whatsoever.

Off topic but I love James, especially the joint channel with his brother Robert. Their videos together always make me laugh. I think their other brother edits the videos and it’s just 👏🏻😂
