I very nearly messaged to ask where she’s off to this time. I mean, it’s a been over 4 weeks since they went on the last trip of a lifetime!
Their holidays always look so depressing though- getting up at 6am, eating a cereal bar in the shared hotel room for breakfast, morning of military precision pre planned activities and staged photographs, share some chicken nuggets in a fast food place for lunch, visit large multinational supermarket for snacks and back to the hotel room for the evening.

It’s got to be year 9 for girls…hormones are hitting hard, they’re still doing subjects they won’t do at GCSE so boredom has kicked in with some lessons, vaping, bullying & boys all rear their heads! It’s a horrible year before they knuckle down for exams

I remember at the start of year 8 evening my daughters school did the head was saying that schools are most concerned about children when the ARE 8, and when they're IN year 8. Funny enough I found the 7/8 year 3 times particularly trying too. We were in the process of an adhd diagnosis at that time and I was constantly trying to work out if certain behaviour was adhd related or age related!!
