wait, she's claiming that poorly-rhymed, bargain bucket, poetry pamphlet is an "aPsolute love letter" to her kiddos?! that's a bit of a bleeping stretch, babs! guilt-tripping the Es because they had the audacity to reach an age where the law states they need to start school because it "broke her heart" - which is such a lie, because she has made no secret of the fact that she hated the toddler years and was undoubtedly delighted to have the day to herself without the inconvenience of her little boy - and as for her now sending photos of pages from her book to the kids via WhatsApp - it's beyond cringe! i really hope they see her messages and just roll their eyes and leave her on read - although admittedly, the major mummy meltdown that would likely occur if they don't immediately reply to share they gratitude that she wrote a book about THEM may jot be worth it! she's saying the Es are nw at an age where they are able to read her pamphlet - as if they were unable to read her basic scribbling until their teen years.

guaranteed they've read her book before - likely giggling between themselves after their 6pm bedroom banishment. just wait til she starts sending her "love letter" poetry to little E - reminding him that he was a "cruel" toddler and "ruined everything" at the age of two! if that's a love letter to her son, it says a hell of a lot about how awful she can be when she IS TRYING to be hurtful.

tbh though, that poem she shared about how she is often cross and moans all the time, and how she struggles to look up from her phone - that's a level of honesty i haven't seen from babnocchio before!

i also stumbled across this gem in the preview of her pamphlet - one i haven't seen before. quite frankly the kind of haiku a primary school could easily outdo in their year 2 English lessons. aPsolute drivel.

She doesn’t like herself very much? Does she know she has the luxury of changing?

I mean ffs she has the money for therapy, gym membership, she could go to cooking classes - she can be tit and it doesn’t matter because at least she’s trying and she doesn’t have to become a cooking/baking/weight loss/wellness channel. I’d have way more respect for someone who said I’m a bit tit at something so I’m going to work on it to just better myself and not be an expert at it. She could clear the dust gathering tat out of her office, sort through the free stuff she’s been given and donate it. Teach part time (if she was allowed), read more, go swimming,

But no. She festers in the hobbit house feeling sorry for herself, eating crap and watching tv, which is why she’s turned to the babettes for external validation

She's unbelievable, she is the biggest narcissist imaginable writing that poem shite... as if her kids have the audacity to leave HER to go to school and is it really such a big thing when your kids leave primary school to go to secondary ?it is I guess if you have nothing else in your life, imagine how distraught she'll be when big E chooses her mates over babs and babs loses control over the toddler bedtime and forcing her kids to watch tv shows with her . Think of the new experiences to come with your kids as they gain independence rather than living in the past - it's so indulgent and negative. Things change you need to go with the flow and adapt and change with them - though babs has never gone with the flow with anything....

Is she finally realising that beyond trying to control her kids , she has very little due to the type of person she is and has become . She doesn't even look out or do anything for her parents . Her life is empty and no amount of holidays will make up for that void. She isn't happy with herself yet is too lazy to change just lives in the past, wishes away the present with her desperation for the next season. Has a proper obsession with tv and spending & blames it all on the bleeping perimenopause. Go back to therapy if you're that unhappy babs rather than try to garner sympathy on instagram!!

Horrendous scanning and rhyming aside, that poem is just really sad. Yes it can be emotional when your children move on to primary school/high school etc but any feelings are (in my experience) overwhelmed by the joy and pride you feel watching your children move on and find their way through life. These transitions aren't about YOU as a parent and putting into print that your child "broke your heart" because they went to school is just a bit grim and horribly self-centered.

And she will never try and change who she is better as being a bit rubbish has become her USP and she is now essentially a parody of herself. And she is fully immersed in a social media bubble filled with followers who also can't be bothered to put the effort into any sort of self-improvement and just echo back to her how great she is, trapping them all in a circle of normalising an unhealthy, lazy lifestyle.
