What a time to be aliveremember that time one of the devoted babettes proudly dressed up as famous author babs for world book day, complete with tights pulled up to their tits and an added belt?! it would be very fitting if the babettes used babs as inspiration for their halloween costume! it would also be an incredibly quick and easy, basic bargain-bucket costume to put together - thickly-layered clown make-up, compete with excessive blusher and highlighter - a blob on the end of the nose is a vital addition - a badly-made, poor-quality blonde wig with all the shades of yellow, an old primark frock - for extra rEaLiSm attach giant tag with "size 18" scrawled in huge writing in sharpie - a medium-sized belt to support their "cracking rack", plus a pair of tacky heart-shaped sunnies - only 99p from amaZON! - and a toddler headband. they could even borrow one of their kids jackets to ensure it doesn't do up - gotta keep on track with babs' invented "trends" - plus their feet wedged into their a pair of their kids' too-small converse tied way too tightly around the ankle to ensure the circulation to their feet is cut off, job done! and certainly an effective costume in terms of terrifying any trick or treaters - which ensure that they can keep the sugary snack hoard all to themselves!
as for babs, she will undoubtedly be bragging about her face-painting skills, while rehashing that post about 80s halloween costumes, dressing as a witch in a black bin bag and one of those terrifying vintage plastic masks, plastic vampire teeth attached to her yellow gnashers or wrapping herself in the excessive loo roll stash from one of steve's sheds claiming she's a mummy etc - and claiming that her reel encapsulates her "niche" childhood halloween experience, that halloween only exists in Brum, questioning whether "skeleton" is a word, while staring that she INVENTED pumpkins etc etc.
Saw this on Facebook, bet Babs is foaming at the mouth wanting to post about it, never mind I'm sure she will reserve it for the inevitable 20 stories before 7am on her first day back

randomly skimming thru some of the hilarious older posts on babs' blog - it's interesting that, despite her very obvious fall-out with her previous "bestie" LP, the blog post about her meeting her "hero" Louise is still very proudly in situ! the way she raves about LP, and how she was supposedly so nervous about meeting her idol -in babs' own words, "the megastar blogger" - that she had to down multiple gins the night prior to the event to calm herself, and then downed five cans of diet coke prior to the event, apparently "forgetting" that caffeine makes her manic - "bat tit cray cray" - and then, upon her arrival - and after demanding steve take her "feral kids" and duck off - decided to soothe her insecurities about being at least twenty years older than every other guest with more caffeine by ordering a "full fat" sugary cock.
upon meeting her "role model" she supposedly burst into tears, couldn't form a coherent sentence and wept...then quickly grabbed yet another coke to drown her shame. the whole interaction sounds painfully cringe and i am genuinely surprised that even a faux "friendship" was formed as a result! it's hilarious though that LP has totally shunned babs, refusing to associate with her because she's such an embarrassment, yet babs still has a post raving about LP and hero-worshipping her general amazingness!
