There is certainly an argument that his private life shouldn’t necessarily have any bearing on his ability to do his job, but in Johnson’s case there is a serious overlap between his public and private lives. Having a bit on the side is one thing, but giving the bit on the side public money is something else.
He thinks he can get away with it because he has, and he is. He’s been an incompetent, lying, useless bastard his whole working life - and has been rewarded by becoming Prime Minister. No wonder he continues to act like an utter tit.
