I know. Old Sins was published in 1989! I remember the poster adverts for it on the walls on the London Underground when I used to commute into town! Feels like a lifetime ago. She wrote proper blockbusters with style. She passed away in 2018.Hope you got it sorted @nbt
I enjoyed the whispers by Heidi Perks!

@Booklover @queenamber used to love her books! Can’t believe she’s an author I read 10+ years ago, old sins, wicked pleasures.

I loved Fifty Fifty, the entire series is fab!I’ve just bought a tit ton of books in order to be eligible for the £5 kindle offer. Now I’m on live chat to Amazon because it’s come off a gift card again instead of using the credit
So excited for my books though!

I’m not even sorry
Fifty Fifty was my “treat yo’self” book at a whopping £4.99 haha. My limit is usually £1.99. But I’m liking that series too.I loved Fifty Fifty, the entire series is fab!
I’m always keen for a non fiction recommendation! Can we talk about nonfiction to or is there another thread for that?
Ooh exciting! I got The Seven Husbands today from Waterstones. I can't actually remember the last time I purchased a new paper copy of a book (usually charity shop) so am looking forward to it very much.Just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Loved it! About to start Malibu Rising now I’m on a TJR roll.
I enjoyed Malibu overall, but looking back on it a week later, and in comparison to 7 husbands, I wish she’d put more effort into developing a few characters with a stronger story line than giving us what she did, which was far too many little irrelevant characters to fill the pagesJust finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Loved it! About to start Malibu Rising now I’m on a TJR roll.
Ive always been so negative about this book and looking back I think it was me more than the bookOnly on the second husband of Evelyn Hugo's seven husbands and so far I love it.
Really pacily written and so interesting about the Hollywood studio system.
I'm reading it so quickly I know I'm going to regret finishing it.
Thoroughly recommend, it has got me back into reading and not wanting to put a book down.
