8gb Paperweight. I think the 32 gb one holds 13,500 books and almost 200 audio books, is 0.8" larger screen, has wireless charging and comes in a green colour. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you have a tbr of 13,500 then you might need to get a new username PollyPages. You would truly be one of us.
My tbr is 13,499 🤣🤣 will I still be accepted 😝

I've tried many times to listen to audiobooks and not keen, is it just me?

Thank you to whomever recommending “Secrets of Strangers” very much enjoyed it and a 5 stars from me. So sad though 😭
I love it when people suggest books on here and I go to Amazon to see if they are, by any small chance, 0.99p, and I find that I already own them. Yes, saves me spending more 0.99ps on books to add to my ever growing TBR list 😵💫

If you go to cancel your membership, they usually ask if you’re sure and give you a deal to try and make you stay. I’ve had 3 months for the price of 1, and then 6 months half price

Secrets of Strangers was my first 5* book of the year.

Has anyone read any of Charity Norman's other books?

I’ve read See You In September. I liked it and think I gave it 4*. It wasn’t as good as Secrets of Strangers though. Absolutely loved that book!

Guys I've just got the Audible 30 day free trail and 2 credits, what books do recommend I listen too to get me going? I prefer to read books and i can imagine the setting better but willing to give anything a go asking reading so many good reviews on audiobooks!

My favourite audios have been non fiction however Shuggie Bain and Young Mungo are very good on audio.

If you are ok with non fict I can recommend some.

I finished 'Then She Was Gone' by Lisa Jewell this week, wasn't bad, I saw where the plot was going well in advance but overall it was a nice easy read with a decent storyline. I'd give it 3/5

There’s one that’s included free about two boy twins and their mother. I loved it. It’s an audible original too. I’m can’t remember its name but I’ll look through what o listened to when I got it free and see if I can pinpoint it. I really enjoyed it so much that I listened to it a few times I just can’t remember it’s name.

it’s called, mum can you lend me twenty kid. Sadly, it’s no longer free to listen too.

It was me again 🙈 I am sorry.

Its such a wonderful book though!
I like you and all that, but I might have to stop reading your recommendations. 🤪

Boys Don't Cry is a superb book but it chewed me up andvspat me out again. So clever in such a relatively short book.

I’ve had to abandon Becoming. She’s very lovely and it’s easy listening but it’s just too long and I kept losing focus and picking it up without any memory of what happened in previous chapter.

I’ve caved, and I’ve brought the first book in The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Claire from a charity shop. It’s my next read after Reputation

It really is heart breaking. I listened to it on audible and the narrator did a brilliant job. Little Finn will stay with me ❤

My free trial of Audible finishes this week so went to cancel and they offered an additional free credit if I stayed.

I think It'll get good value out of my £7.99 - 2 months listening of 3 new books plus the freebies.
