I think her going to a children's amusement park every day has made her regress back into being a child. It's her whole life now because they're too poor to do anything else. It's their private hell.

And I'm also assuming that Spencer is sort of a father figure for her??....taking her to Disneyland because her real dad didn't? She acts like a little girl in all areas of her life - candy diet, no responsibilities, and he has to be the one who buys her anything.
