Ok so I had no idea who Karina was so went looking and her post 9hrs ago where she said “you don’t know what it’s like to wake up to endless comments and message about how fat, disgusting and ugly you are. Now add 11 years to that, 4017 days.” my first thought was - if you’re getting crap like that every single day and it’s affecting your mental health (because of course it would), you remove yourself from that situation. You do not hang around for 11 years in a space that sure might be lining your pockets with $$ but at what cost?

I don’t understand why anyone would willingly put up with that and expose themselves to it for 11 years unless they are a complete narcissist.

And I’m definitely not condoning the messages she’s getting AT ALL but she could solve the problem by just closing her phone and stepping away.

Just wanted to put it out there that it was pretty gross watching that channel 10 tribute to Jock Zonfrillo, wheeling out all the celebrity chefs to make scripted dedications to him in attempt to make cashing in on his death by still airing the masterchef season “palatable”.
It’s obvious they don’t want to lose their investment and production time/ money, but haven’t really considered the impact on his partner and children. I’m sure they made her an offer she couldn’t refuse..and by losing the family breadwinner with 2 young kids..did she really have a choice to pull the season!? I don’t think so.
Soz for the Ted talk, just sick of the media hyping this shit to continue their own $$$$ gains

I watched part of the interview with Andy Allen and his grief was clearly immense. But Sarah Harris asking dumb questions like ‘are you ok’ and then following up with is his wife ok, was so cringeworthy. Any sadness I felt, somewhat dissolved with her interviewing technique.
