Guys I'm going to be really controversial, can we just have babies and know that we are going to change and just...accept it?!? Instead of moaning and analysing it all day everyday.

I KNOW RIGHT! Do people not realise that being responsible for another HUMAN BEING for their ENTIRE LIFE, is life changing? I have changed as a person both times I’ve had a child, the first saved me pretty much - I was a dick. The second has helped me grow as a person and see life in a total different light. You do become a different person when you have a child because your whole life revolves around them. I’m not just me anymore, all of my life choices impact my children.
Do people really think they pop out a baby and go back to being their old self? Perhaps actually what needs normalising is just how much children change you and your life - and it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

I saw my Facebook memories yesterday and I was posting about a cervical campaign here in Ireland. Three women I know booked a smear as a result. It’s literally life changing. My own best friend has cervical cancer and it’s devastating. I hope she gets pulled on this big time

my daughter is 3 months older than him and apart from her speech (she on the lower end of normal with it) they’re polar opposite’s, she bursts with life, joy and enthusiasm and only ever sits still if she’s on my lap with a book (not a ‘not my…’ book!) He’s just so still and sad looking all the time, I know we only see a snapshot of his moments but I’ve only ever seen him smile like twice!

Alfie certainly appears extremely young for his age from what she shows. Im actually grateful he spends so much time away from her and either in childcare or with grandparents because at least someone has an eye on him and he is getting some kind of appropriate stimulation (i assume) i think it would be even worse if he wasnt in childcare or being papped off. My heart actually breaks for him as he has no idea what is coming, his whole world isnabout to be turned upside down with no thought on the impact on him. Also is she having a fucking laugh with that “going from 1-2” she doesnt even soend any quality time with him now! Poor thing doesnt stand a chance with the baby here.
She is definitely going to delay her section recovery by not getting putnof bed like at all. If I parented like Ash he would still be opening a door on an advent calendar every day from Jan to Dec cos he’s 2 and doesn’t realise that it has to stop! Hold on - wasn't the private gynaecologist appointment she had originally a smear test and then he wrote the letter?

I'll need to go back and check but am sure we discussed it before as I remember mentioning I had grade 1A cervical cancer and had a cone biopsy at 29.

She also wasn't "forced". Her whole narrative the last 2 years was she was refused an epidural because she wouldn't allow them to check her.
