Are they not staying in the same hotel tonight? I’m assuming not since she’s on Instagram live and was looking for a hotel earlier..?

When my friend is depressed he pushes everyone away but he says that it isn’t us, he just doesn’t want to bring us down etc so who knows how Ashley is coping with it. He may feel like if he stops he will break.

I just lurk on this thread, as I don’t want to judge 2 parents grief but Ashley is so cold to Saf it’s hard to watch. I don’t think she feels worthy of him, she treats him like a god by trying to constantly fish for his attention, his time and for any affection. That should be given naturally, not by doing 25 mile bike rides and shouting ‘let’s go champ’. He seems like he thinks his grief is more worthy and more painful than Safs. I don’t dislike him, but I dislike how he seems towards Saf. I say seems as I see a snapshot on Instagram ect. She looks so consumed by her grief, and it looks like all she wants is a hug from him! I think he forgets she grew A for 9 months, gave birth and spent time with and now she’s gone.
I definitely get the vibe that he thinks his grief is more important/painful than hers, it certainly looks like he forgets Saf grew A and will have a different sort of yearn for her baby that a man will never understand.

The amount of IG accounts on her live with azalyias name and photos. It’s weird and there’s one called Azalyia Edits wtf

I feel so sad for Saf she’s there on Instagram live talking to strangers on her own. Ashley’s at Rick Steins having a celebration meal for his brothers birthday 😢😢

Very weird! I noticed on Ashley’s story earlier he mentioned “We” when talking about his brother and him but then said my daughter when talking about Azaylia no mention of our daughter or Saf it’s all him it’s actually becoming more painful to watch Saf become non existent in his life

I just don’t feel comfortable seeing this beautiful girls face used on peoples accounts and using her name it’s not right

People are absolute freaks setting up accounts with a child's photo that they don't even know. I do not have a child yet but have told my husband if we have one, their image will not be shared on our social media accounts or on family pages. We have private accounts but FB/ig still own your photos and can sell them to whoever they want. Some people's kids pics have ended up on horrific items.

Screenshots requesting no gifts to be sent & people saying her mum left everything on her doorstop

Seems like group disappeared when she passed away
But they do openly endorse any/all gifts freebies for themselves. And also endorse vile accounts profiting from their dead baby. And the grief freaks that buy it and also happily tattoo themselves with a babies face they have never even met 🤦🏻‍♀️

Absolutely and yet Saf endorses these freaks by liking their weird posts and sales pitches 🤬

I do find it odd how they shut down the group that Safs mum made, even though it effected her personally, with being Azaliyas grandmother.. but they’re completely comfortable with complete strangers profiting of the death of their daughter. That’s massive red flags for me, they didn’t like the mums group as it didn’t get them the attention, but Instagram pages were getting them more attention. How they handled the situation with her mum was awful, on both sides, but I do feel sorry for her being cut out of Azaliyas unfortunately short life, but they allowed a mass Instagram following to basically watch her die, I’d be bitter too if I was her mum

Absolutely well said ☝❤

they mentioned in the podcast with Giovanna that Safs mum called the emergency services after they had a few hours away, but prior to that they had taken her to the doctors.
They were in Manchester which is puzzling as baby was obviously very ill regardless as to the fact they didn’t know just how serious it was.

But regarding this, yes Manchester is far with a sick baby, but at the time they were probably just listening to what the doctors were saying colic, a cold, just general baby issues, it’s not like azaylias nappy had blood in it every time and I can’t imagine she was showing signs of being very poorly every single day you otherwise I’m sure an ambulance would’ve been called a lot sooner, they were new parents I’m sure a lot of people around them were saying if the doctors say it’s fine then try not too worry and just enjoy your newborn. Safs mum was also probably encouraging of them having some time to themselves as a lot of grandmas do, so that she could take on nanny duties to her first granddaughter. I just don’t think this can be judged imo, yes Manchester is quite far but you can’t live your life thinking what if otherwise you wouldn’t do anything, I’m sure they both kick themselves everyday for being in Manchester that day but it wouldn’t changewhat was going to unfortunately and tragically happen.

as for the way Ashley and Saf are going about things now I find very strange, but I’ve never lost a child so I can’t really say I wouldn’t do this or that but I can’t begin to imagine asking for freebies or enjoying millions of people calling my baby their baby and saying how much they loved them it’s very weird. There was a young girl on Instalive last night crying that she had been chosen to be a part of the live, where were this girls parents for starters? I don’t think I would impressed at all.

This doesn’t sit well with me either, if you’re baby is so ill that you’re getting different opinions from different doctors why would you go away? I’m pregnant, was meant to be having a GTT a few weeks ago and cancelled it because my son was so poorly

Did someone on here not recently say that all the go fund me money was still there? So they couldn’t be stealing it (if that was what the mum was implying). Not sure if that is the case though I haven’t looked myself

I must say though I feel so sorry for Saf. Ashley doesn’t look warm towards her at all and then her mum is behaving like that. Whatever has gone on between them, she has lost her baby and is heartbroken so the mum should just be there for her regardless. Not writing cryptic messages on social media and having family members say things publicly. Sad has to see that, like she’s not got enough tit going on in her head. And if that is true about dumping the gifts when her Grandaughter was dying is just bleeping disgraceful. I’m actually in shock.
Go fund mes will always show the top line raised the money will have been transferred to Ash and saf already. I know someone who used it for their dog

I think her mums friends need to be stopped from commenting these things. Even if that’s why they were away I imagine the guilt they have (if it’s true) is huge. Ultimately the poor little one had cancer and even if Saff and Ash were just up the road the outcome wouldn’t have been different. Child loss can cause major PTSD so I don’t think rumours by family/family friends posted online are helpful at this stage of grief.

Regardless where Ash and Saf where when Safs mother called the ambulance doesn’t make them bad parents and they shouldn’t be made to feel like that by her mums friends that’s absolutely disgusting do they not think that guilt eats them up inside every single day already,do they not think the pain of loosing their little girl is already to much to bear without ignorant supposed family and close friends and her own mother acting like this is disgraceful, poor Saf a lot of people wouldn’t be able to carry on with the pain of loosing their child and then the added pain of her family doing this would be to much to bear her mother needs to stop ✋ before she may cause her daughter to do something tragic. They had already had various medical opinions on what was up with their daughter prior to that day and was told it was colic so I’m guessing they where encouraged to have a day away and treat and then whilst they was there she started to develop bruising which her Nan discovered.Safs mum really seems to want recognition and praise and seeks attention it’s disgusting she should be there for her daughter.

I’m more interested in why they lied about it. I mean personally I would not have left my baby however minor the illness was for work never mind bloody Botox. But

Not sure that’s how it went, but yeh they don’t need anymore guilt and sorrow than they already have. Just for me when people lie it sets massive alarm bells with everything. Like why lie about it what’s the point? no one wins brownie points for getting a clearly very very sick baby to hospital.

They shouldn’t be made to feel guilty, however if they were that concerned they wouldn’t of gone away for Botox of all things and also if they have the money for Botox, they could of found a private doctor and paid for her if they were so convinced it was more than just colic.. as a mother I wouldn’t leave my baby, even with my own mother no matter how minor the illness is

Clearly there are two quite different versions of what happened and to me, neither of them seem entirely believable. In fairness to ash and saf, they said on the happy mum happy baby podcast that at the time they didn’t have any serious concerns. They asked about each little thing that happened and were told it’s colic, constipation etc and it’s only looking back now they could see the signs were there. They said the first major red flag was the bruise which saf sent pictures to the gp and the next day when they were out they got a call from the gp saying you need to take her to A&E so they came straight back and when they got home her mum had already called for an ambulance. Now this was October 2020 when I think we were in the tiers system where some parts of the country were more locked down than others and you weren’t supposed to travel much so seems a bit weird to be going far away especially if you had any concerns about your babies health.
Her mum says she was looking after for Azaylia for the day and spent 40 minutes on the phone to 111 and then called an ambulance. She said she was at the hospital for 2 hours before she rang ash and saf. If you were concerned enough to ring 111 wouldn’t that be the point you would ring the parents and tell them to come back? Especially if you knew they were quite far away and it would take them a while to come back? If not then at least at the point you rang the ambulance you would ring the parents and tell them to come home.
Both stories overlap a bit so I would guess the truth is somewhere in the middle and both sides are conveniently leaving some information out. It doesn’t really matter what happened on that day though as it doesn’t change the outcome.

I was on that Facebok group. At first it was fine but it quickly got massive and to be honest people on there were acting crazy. It was quite worrying.
And safs mum encouraged it.
People were asking who the page was run by and stuff and she avoided answering properly so it was made out it was to do with the parents. I think she was embarrassed and angry when it turned out they had nothing to do with it and it was all her. A lot of people were very confused.
Even before it came out they weren't to do with the group, when saf and ash had said no to some things or asked people not to send things(or something like that, I can't rememeber exactly) , she was still putting on the group to carry on. My sister was on the group and I even said to her I think something isn't right here.
She was even telling people to follow her on Instagram and giving out her username!
