For me, its less the filter and more the smile but keeping the eyes unnaturally wide, worrying about wrinkles and lines so not too expressive, thus giving this weird dead eyed look.
I wouldn't have the balls to put up pictures that filtered! Granted my socials are private, but my friends and family know exactly what I look like ffs
