I like Tampa Jay. He's one of the more "real" and humble people vlogging. He vlogs about all kinds of things, one of the more versatile ones out there. He's more in it as a hobby and personal enjoyment, showing us things he likes. He does have a Patreon, but only accepts $1 per month for those who join (which he rarely has ever mentioned since I've been watching over the last 2 years). Otherwise, he's not on there begging for donations or going live for superchats or even being a member of the channel.

ATW was out in the weeds looking at podunky old buildings and talking to cows in his latest slow motion train wreck of a life video. He was not quite as ebullient as when he was escorting Ms. Del Rey around SanFran.
Well, that's good to know.
I will still watch a few more of his in the days ahead but I just don't care for the antics of people who do things like I referenced in my earlier post thinking it's funny - like the dropping a retail product straight to the ground in a store while vlogging... for zero reason other than to "be funny."
Like I said, I know it's not end-of-the-world type stuff but it just kinda rubs me the wrong way. $1 a month patreon or not.
I'll personally fund Tampa Jay if he tampers with/ruins more props in the theme parks
DH and I drive by the Desert Inn a lot when we go through Yeehaw Junction (off the turnpike). I remember when the tractor-trailer crashed into it a few years ago. It's a very murder-y looking area - the property itself.

Although I kinda enjoyed the vlog today it was also weird.. Adam made his name by looking at abandoned tit and today he was scared to even look in an open shed right in front of him. I understand not wanting to trespass in buildings but the shed was open and right in front of him and he wouldn’t even peek. He also wouldn’t even stick his camera in the broken window. That’s not trespassing and I doubt someone was in there I think he used it as an excuse. He’s turned yellow in his old age

I've been watching some older Woo vlogs recently. Specifically from 2015. This is around the time he went back on the road after moving to CA.
In one video he's talking about how he makes money and mentions that it's really tshirt sales that was funding his lifestyle. YouTube monetization was minimal. Before going on the road again he mentions that when you limit the things that you have, that's when you flourish.
As been said here before, he really needs to get back on the road. I also think the comfort of knowing he's set financially with YouTube residuals has made him phone it in. The passion that is in his voice in 2015 and the Large Marge days are long gone. If Adam doesn't want to leave this earth miserable he has to change something.
I am a shade older than ATW. I have to say as I age I am getting far less risk adverse. Plus, I think with with his previous run ins with either the law or park security its not worth it anymore. I get it. It does make things a bit more boring. I do miss his Large Marge days. I wish he would get back onto the road, but he sure seems to be avoiding it. It might be in part to COVID, but I suspect it is more to with the grind of being in your late 40s and hitting the road. He’s not exactly the same guy who lived out of the back of a van for years anymore.
And why go through the trouble of a road trip when you can go down the road a few miles to Disney and get just as many views?
I have to say, I love WDW. I worked there for a year and guess what I did every afternoon and weekend? Went to WDW lmao This is why I never complain about ATW Disney content.
However, I'm starting to understand why others do. I havent even watched ATW in weeks bc every notification is for a baseball game. Like dude. I get it now. Its not like he can even show the game right? SMH

I had low expectations seeing the thumbnail and intro, but thought today's vlog was decent!
Not sure if it's Tampa Jay starting to build a fun dynamic with him or if the empty stadium forced him to be more creative; felt like all the MLB game vlogs all followed the same boring structure. Walking into the park > look at the snacks > look at the merch > view from the seats > get a hot dog> film the wave > get another hot dog.

Maybe the mosquitos are bad there? They've been brutal in my neighborhood this year so I've been wearing long sleeves myself.
The mosquitos were horrible there. The vlog was good though. I love minor league games. After I watched the video I looked around for a minor league team near me.
