I like to imagine her finishing her productive day-in-the-life vlog with 'have a productive week everyone', shutting the camera down, then ripping her cardigan off, necking a vodka redbull, snorting lines off her study planner and twerking to trap music in her bedroom

Wait is that Luke Faulkner the pianist? Never knew he was into Ruby's handwriting lmao
yes it is him, someone in the comment said they liked his piano playing (idk the word) they also said “you’re soo talented” and meant faulkner, erimenthol responded with “thank you so much, that’s why i love this community “ she thought it was addressed at her. absolutely hilarious.

Slightly off-topic but I had a dream (nightmare?) where Ruby was famous (actually famous, not just youtube-and-tattle-famous) and her whole family was invited to participate in "Dancing with the Stars". I don't remember much of the dream but I do remember Ruby's dad awkwardly dancing to "Daddy Cool" except they were singing "Daddy, Daddy Bones" instead of "Daddy Cool".

I might have to take a break from the internet lmao

Does Ruby not realise most Washing machines have a delicate setting on that is the same as a handwash
Really not sure what her ‘I handwash most of my clothes’ flex is about. Unless you know what you’re doing (and I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume that as it’s something to do with looking after herself and acting like an adult, Ruby doesn’t) then it’s most likely just a pointless use of time that wastes resources and probably does more harm to her clothes than machine washing them. It’s also not really a great ad for either Miss Patina or how for often Ruby actually washes her clothing. Just buy some net bags and use the delicates cycle, Ruby!

I remember commenting months ago when she was gifted that laundry detergent that it cost something insane like eighteen quid a bottle, and the fact that she has barely used any of it suggests that she’s probably just taking her washing home so that Ma Granger can use it as fodder for a tiresome blog story about ‘being forced to do her adult child’s washing’ whilst ‘tripping over a stray sock, falling down the stairs and literally demolishing half the house’.

Coincidentally, Ruby's mother posted a poem about the joys of finally having time alone to enjoy peace and quiet and how good that is for her mental health...shortly before Ruby comes back to ruin it.

Oh, here I am
Alone at last
Just me, the rain
Present and past

I sit by the window
And start to write away
I’m all cosy inside
On this grizzly, grey day

The silence is perfect
Drips are all that I hear
Settling into puddles
Nature’s very own tears

I relish the quiet
To be all by myself
To be in the moment
Just so good for my health

Looking out through the pane
I can see the willow tree
Bows majestically
Saying hello it's Roobee to me

A spider is stuck
Halfway down the wall
It’s stillness stills me
Doesn’t let me fall

The glass lamp shines down
My laptop gives light
The unlit fire waits
Until day is night

The garden fuschia sways
I feel like I should too
But how blissful it is
Until I do need to
Ruby shortly after her mother has finished writing this poem:

I noticed that in her last video Ruby is interacting with the comments a bit more. She hearted a bunch of them and even replied to a few. She also commented herself asking the viewers a random question? Maybe she realized it's good for views and the algorithm if she engages with her audience
Meanwhile her book club are like...

Finally got round to watching her video, and made the mistake of reading the comments.

First, our old friend Penultimate H makes a return:

This is something I would like to see (and I will from now on only say ‘stuffing stocker’):

At least the word ‘groovy’ ticks the box of ‘something from the 60s’ for those Queen’s Gambit fans in your life.

And finally this, because what‘s more Christmassy than an infestation of prehistoric shrimp in your house?

Definitely not how the next pandemic is going to start.

This whole debacle has wound me up so much I've literally made an account just to comment here. The fact that a girl with so much money she became a landlord in her teens has accepted payment for a post about the holocaust is absolutely insane? I think a lot of Ruby's fans like to think of her as a quaint little girl sat in her bedroom making videos about reading and morning routines and they fail to see that she's the same as every other influencer, she's carefully controlled by her management and she's motivated by money. Beneath the weird Victorian porcelain doll persona is a grown woman looking to make her social media money while she can.

Everyone was right at the ‘re-investing’ instead of ‘donating’.
I’m sorry but I’m done with this girl. There was no need to take the money POINT BLANK. I feel like she’s panicking from back lash and rightly so... funny how she didn’t address before the add.

Thank u for the new thread. 😊 Love the title.

In the previous thread, Ruby did the following:
  • had a productive flu
  • visited some notorious Christmas lights
  • read a disappointing number of books
  • made a video listing the books.
  • she's still throwing shade at Sun Tzu.
  • created extra work for the bomb squad by leaving parcels in public locations.
  • wore the world's ugliest outfit - the brown shorts refuse to die.
  • wrote a poem about Santa being shot. Why the violence Roobee, why?
  • more sponsorships and weird collabs including a surprise tv appearance for ''the girl, the pox, the vole and the shorts.''
  • (The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse)

Can someone tell me in which video she said she's struggling with her mental health? Please? 🙇
Her mental health is apparently fine, it's her "mantle halth" she's struggling with.

Since her house has like 72 living rooms, each in a worse state than the last, that's a lot of mantles, so this is clearly a serious problem.

To: Tutorial Fellow Professor Lionel Righton (Head of English Language and Literature)
From: Professor Farfington

Dear Lionel,

We spoke before Christmas about one of my students and her ongoing campaign of harassment against me. You suggested I minimise the contact that I have with that student, which I have, of course, done.

Unfortunately, since then, her correspondence to me has continued, and indeed has escalated. You will note that this memo is accompanied by three boxes of hand-written, entirely illegible letters and (what I assume to be) gifts that she delivered to my home over the holiday period. At my wife's insistence, I have now reported this matter to Exeter police. This was done following an early morning disturbance in our garden, when we discovered the student performing what, to my wife's reckoning, was most certainly an attempt at a one-woman quadrille.

This, unfortunately, was not an isolated incident. I regret to inform you, that various of my neighbours have complained recently about two characters, they describe as "The Grey Gardens women" drawing up in a car outside my home, with clear intent to cause nuisance. The student in question got out of the vehicle, depositing a pile of litter in the street in the process and then performed a series of yoga positions while her cackling mother took photos. These photos were then sent en masse to my university email account, causing IT colleagues to work overtime during the festive period to clear the problem.

As you are aware, I have broached this matter with the student before, who has given assurances that her bizarre behaviour is in fact research for a "letter writing" dissertation she intends to present for her undergraduate degree. Can I once again, urge that you reallocate a new supervisor to this student? I understand that other colleagues do not want to take up this particular poisoned chalice, but I am now receiving support from my GP and do not know how much longer I can go on like this. The 'My little pony' episode really is the end.

Yours

Professor Farfington.

I think she's running out of money. She hasn't been posting to youtube consistently, her masters had to cost quite a bit, and she takes a lot of vacations, and all of sudden she has withdrawn her phd application to work a 9-5 when she has never worked a full time job a day in her life before.
I don’t think there’s any version of the universe in which she’s in danger of running out of money. Even if she did pay for her degree herself, what expenses does she have, living with mummy and daddy? They won’t be charging her rent. Nyord V. P. Anne with and E has more than paid for her replacement laptop, and just about all of the videos she puts out these days are sponsored, not to mention all the undeclared ads. The ”9 to 5” she has is three days a week straightening out the shelves in the library of her old school, she’s doing it just to have something to do and pad out her CV, not for the money. Daddy Bones has millions squirreled away in offshore accounts and will have set her up financially from the day she was born, she’s never going to actually face the concept of supporting herself in anything but a very superficial way.
