I have been lurking on these CH threads for MONTHS now without an account but I just had to sign up. I am a reformed Freak with a completely out of control stash which is actually causing me stress. I used to like CH/L Ron/Gangsta Granny but her behaviour in the past few years has really gone downhill. I am also not impressed by her shilling, low effort reviews on her blog, her book (which was basically a copy and paste from her blog) and her aggressive behaviour on social media.

I had to leave the Freaks group a while ago as I couldn't see forest for the beggars trees. I also could not stand the ridiculous, made up stories. Thank you to all of you for the belly laughs, bingo and helping me come to my senses about this "guru".

Wtf is an 'NHS Wage' when it's at home?

Are you a janitor or a consultant? Very different.
Exactly this.

Reminds of my friend who works in the filing cupboard at a hospital. I mean she files patient records, archives etc. Literally sees no patients. As soon as we went into the first lockdown, she was furloughed along with the other admin staff.

When people were banging their pans for the NHS on a Thursday night, she did a facebook live thing of herself, with her nhs lanyard on, turning round slowly saying, "oh my god, all this for little old me, I'm overwhelmed for the support for us nhs workers" and went on to say how they will beat covid etc.

She even used to go shopping with it on to try and get discounts and into shops.

Absolute chump

Goes on and on about supporting the beauty industry and then accepts a free hair treatment just minutes after they are allowed to open again.

That is hilarious. Others stick to one description, she's gone all out. I'm surprised she doesn't mention her American and Irish heritage, or being a mother.
And backing singer. That was forgotten too.
Caroline Hirons, Cherokee-Irish Liverpudlian American backing singer from Warrington, Central London, Skincare expert, mother of 4, including a lifestyle coach and a personal trainer fitness expert, bestselling author, TV presenter, SJW, Twitter personality, skincare activist, bully, famous personality, cult leader, brilliant saleswoman, from a beauty family, and bandwagon activist. Have I forgotten something?

Funny how it's never delivery drivers, supermarket workers, post office workers, pharmacists, etc etc that beg for a kit. It's always the NHS workers, workers that were fetishised during the pandemic while the other workers that kept the country running got ignored

About to lose my shit with her over this. The person posing the question is clearly worried about a life without children and Caroline can’t even be bothered to reply with something reassuring. It may well be that she doesn’t know but she couldn’t she just try being nice? A simple “of course it will” would suffice.

In honour of the momentous occasion of the bible making it into the curriculum, here's an exclusive reveal of a sample GCSE question

Question 1, multiple choice (10 marks)

Who invented the double cleanse?

A) Our healing Queen L Ron. No one else had ever 'eard of it before, dyaknowwotImean?

Question 2, essay (100 marks)

Please write a summary, in your own words, of the skincare bible. Discuss the recurring theme of CTRL C and CTRL V in your answer

Question 3, multiple choice (10 marks)

What are the barriers to becoming a highly specialised medical professional such as a dermatologist?

A) Not everyone has the brains or academic ability or the inclination to study so hard. Medical school is extremely tough. And even if you make it through medical school, there is no guarantee you will be able to train as a derm as there is a lot of competition

B) Time, money, giving birth to 4 giant babies, dyaknowwotImean?

Nadine Baggot in The Times today has listed her 21 products she can’t live without. She’s done a budget and luxe for each item and under cleanser they’re both under £15. She then says “you will notice that I simply cannot bring myself to recommend any cleanser that costs more than £20 — sorry but they are all daylight robbery”.

Wouldn't it have been nice if she'd reintroduced herself in a dignified, quiet, relevant and inoffensive manner? But no, she came plodding in in her size elevens, only saying 'hi' to her mates (fuck any others who wanted to pay their condolence) tramping over everyone's sanity with her fucking relentless prejudice, political bias, wearing Stella McCartney (which looked very much like a 1970s school blazer) and sniffing like she'd just done a few lines.

Totally grim stuff
I lost my mum in July (after nursing her) and am now caring for my father. Grief is weird and has it crossed my mind that my mum might still be alive, or at least cared for better, if there hadn't been 12 years of NHS cuts, austerity and covid pushing everthing to the max? Yes of course. But I'm not angry. I've accepted that everyone did the best they could under the circumstances and sadly it wasn't enough to save my mother. The blame game is easy to do when you lose someone, but it sounds to me like Caroline is going to send herself down a dark path of anger and non acceptance if this is how she's returning to work. I'm not saying I'm not devastated, haven't been down or anything like that. But having been through something similar I'm making constant decisions to try and live with these events with dignity and humility. Thinking what would my late mum want me to be doing with the rest of my life? I am grateful for the free medical support my mother had throughout her life, I'm grateful she lived to 74, I'm grateful I had a loving, involved mother for as long as I did. Some people never have that. I understand grief is a very personal thing and I'm in no way saying how anyone should choose to be at this time, but I just feel Caroline is going to suffer if she's all guns blazing, aimming her anger at the NHS rather than trying to have empathy for how up against it the system is etc I'm unsure of whether to post this, I'm not trying to say there's a one shoe fits all for grief, I'm just sharing my perspective having been living with the new grief of a lost, loved mother. Might delete later.

I don’t understand how suing the NHS helps, surely this takes more money away from helping everyone else who needs the service who can’t afford private healthcare. It sounded like her mum was in pain and if she was only weighing 4.5-5 stone at 5ft 5, surely she would of been extremely frail and her body was shutting down, at 75 years old, does it sound to everyone else like the consultant had done anything wrong? They won’t treat a 75 year old the same as a 40/50 year old.
It sounds like she's really lashing out with the pain of the loss. Oh my god. She's really directing it in anger. That's not healthy.
---
If she's 'ON THE EDGE' she needs to take herself right off social media. She's doing her business no favours, and making herself look like an unhinged dick too. She isn't stable, so get help......

...and don't share every fucking minute detail with your followers.

Sorry. She's a monster. Grief or no grief.
---
Some poor freak has asked for MAKE UP recommendations for her birthday treat and the first cock that replies recommends she buys Nanna's bible. Which contains NO make up tips....

This is a cult, and there are some brainwashed wanks out there that move amongst us.

Keep on trying to get your pat on the back from Ma Clampit.
Also it feels very inappropriate (to me) to be shouting her mother's last life details all over the internet for dramatic impact, of how it's hurt her. My mum suffered at the end, but I haven't even gone into detail with people I know. I want my mother's memory to have dignity. Again just saying how I felt in a similar situation, not saying what anyone else should do.

I had a survey request from Space NK today, presumably because I used to shop there a lot and now I don’t. When they asked why I hadn’t shopped there for a while, I said they’d done too many partnerships with Caroline Hirons, and she’s well known for changing her recommendations based on who is paying her.

We did not however join for dishonest, self important people pretending to be our ‘friend’ constantly shilling, posting ads and sponcon, so if reels are so bad, please do clear off and leave us in peace 👋🏻 Don’t let the door hit you on the way out 🙄

@50sGirl she's a huge hypocrite, just like Katie Hopkins. She's the Katie Hopkins of skincare. Hypocritical, egotistical, ignorant, arrogant, believes her own hype, has a following of idiots and has terribly dry, bleached hair that ages them. They're practically the same person.
Oh lord, I hope Hirons sees this. She'd be spitting blood. I imagine she would think of herself as the polar opposite of KH. But you're right, the similarities are definitely there 😅
It has to be the next thread title surely? Even if she/her minions never open these threads, hopefully they’d see the title! 😆
