My parents aren’t seeing all their children for Christmas, my brother is a teacher and we won’t be gathering with him and others. Boo hoo, we just get on with it ffs. It’s one Christmas and it’s really not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. The next day the world will go on turning and Christmas will be over, so what does it matter?
I swear the same people who are like “oh we deserve it after this dreadful year!” are the same ones who went on like 3 holidays this summer anyway.

I hate this bitch for these exact reasons.Okay I never comment but when it comes to the Covid conversation: there are going to be many different opinions here as we are all from different countries/situations/backgrounds. For me personally I am from the US and maintaining a strict lockdown because my partner is comprised. We’ve had to reschedule our wedding TWICE. Blah blah blah everyone’s going through it. However since this is a Zoe thread, here’s where I get mad: she is so unbelievably out of touch, I cannot relate. She has every resource she could possibly need, she has tons of money, she’s basically set. I really wish I was in her position and could not worry about my finances and how I would take care of my household if/when we get Covid. I understand that I am jealous. But with that being said, watching influencers like Zoe continuously grab at money-making sponsors has been horribly painful. Yet in the midst of it, I seek out forums like this so I can just.....vent? Gossip? Get shit off my chest? I don’t know. Maybe I’m a hater. But if I was in Zoe’s very fortunate position, I would anticipate that people are bitter because I was just lucky. Because she was just LUCKY. She’s even admitted that. I follow a lot of Tattle threads for multiple influencers and it’s a great reminder that they don’t have the dream life I thought they did. When it comes to Covid, I can’t stop anyone from doing what they want. But for me the big issue is that influencers like Zoe have done nothing substantial to get where they are yet have nothing to worry about when it comes to worldwide pandemics/horrors. So I’m here to bitch about itAnd to all of you that work tirelessly every day with your career, your families, your kids, your health, etc: I am so so sorry. This shit sucks. They had actual ant infestations when they left unattended gifted doughnuts around for days on end last year. They filmed and followed the ant trails from the doughnuts to find out where they entered the house. This is standard AtoZ (HA) behaviour.Ok, this is me just being petty but... the super praised, best chocolate-cake-EVER GBBO cake, is sitting apparently untouched on the kitchen isle, two or three days later.... Like, even the frigging raspberries are still on top.
A) This shows Zoe 100% is not the Gone Girl style Cool Girl she pretends to be, you know the one who eats truckloads of sweets and can polish off a cake on her own in one sitting while remaining TiNy, no effort at all B) How good could it have been if they haven't eaten more of it in the past few days? Good cake is gone FAST in most households C) and most important of all, how unhygienic are these idiots? Leaving a cake with fruit on top, just like that? No covering, nothing. The fruit will go bad fast, I know it's winter but there might be a fly or smth. It could attract ants. It's simply icky.
