Her hiking obsession is purely an excuse to burn calories whilst travelling and when out of her gym/workout ‘routine’. I don’t believe that she genuinely enjoys it. She seems to really hate it when other people do the same hike as her. Why does she judge a hike by how quiet it is?!

I agree, she needs to analyse why this is so important to her. If I was her therapist I’d say it was down to her grandiose image of herself - she has to be the only one doing things, and the best at them. She has to get the best content on insta. She doesn’t want to be seen as “one of the average folk” doing a hike. She has to drag herself and her fiancée through the biggest challenge they can find every day, that no one else is doing, otherwise she feels like she’s failed.

Mental health can affect everyone differently, but if you’re back to “normal” within a year (and let’s face it she was back on holiday and posting her usual content within a month), then it hardly turned your life upside down.

I’ve never known someone to be so self-righteous and delusional as Zanna. She doesn’t empower women at all, she takes advantage of the parasocial relationship she has with her followers for money, content and a free holiday. Everything she does is purely for her own gain.

When was the last time she did anything truly altruistic? She ditched being vegan, stopped caring about the environment and did a few litter picks a few years ago.

Imagine how rewarding her life could have been if she actually used her degree to become a speech and language therapist? She has the spare time to volunteer with animal rescues or donate her clothes to a women’s shelter. Her life could have been full of fulfilment and meaning.

It seems like she’s struggling internally with living such a vapid life and now she’s trying to convince herself otherwise. Whatever helps her sleep at night I guess
