Does anyone use a good eye cream that has actually made a difference? I’ve been recommended the vitamin c one by dermalogica but it is so expensive considering I don’t know whether I’ll have results from it! I have quite crepey, dry dark under eyes and my concealer tends to crease within minutes of applying it!

The only difference I’ve ever noticed was when using a sample of the bioeffect EGF serum but I can’t justify spending £100+ on a serum 😭

I use holy hydration eye cream from elf, makes my under eyes feel nice if nothing else lol

Can anyone recommend a good hyaluronic acid please? I'm 45 and really just starting to notice my skin is so dull and getting saggy.

I had to do my passport pic yesterday and my god I look shocking!
the absolute key is retinol. Start with something low % if you don’t already use it. Then I’d recommend getting on skin and me or Dermatica and getting a Tretonin prescription

I bought a full bottle of that. It did nothing for me. Managed to sell it for 70 quid on eBay. Perhaps look on there.

I like elf prep and hydrate balm. I use it under my eyes before I apply make up and my concealer sits so much nicer and doesn’t come off as easy

Personally I would look at tear trough filler - as long as you have a hollow and aren’t prone to water retention it really really helps

Morning:
Drink coffee and take meds and vitamins
Clean teeth
Wash under arms and use deodorant
Swipe make up remover under eyes
Leggings, T-shirt and hoodie thrown on
Hair hidden under hat
Dog walked for an hour
Horses fed and checked

Mid morning:
Shower with Dove soap (not every day as my skin gets itchy)
Hair wash with shampoo bar
Body moisturiser and specialist foot cream
Face Liz Earle super skin cream
Sunscreen
Mousse in hair and blow dry
May or may not use put on concealer, eyeshadow, mascara

Evening :
Cleanse face
I cycle through a variety of skin care depending on the day of the week
Apply UK lash serums to brows and lashes
Hair growth serum
Lip balm
Hand cream and cuticle oil

I take a lot of supplements including biotin, heart and eye health capsules, spirulina, the other green one, collagen powder , Vitamin D

I’m early 60s, retired, outside a lot and extremely busy with volunteering, gardening, helping look after 25 horses etc.

Everytime I’ve had my makeup done professionally they use the ordinary caffeine solution. I’ve used it for a few years so was pleased to know that it is something trusted by makeup artists.

Can you say more about the foundation part? I’m rubbish with sponges but am tempted to start trying what you described… and you’ve also inspired me to try more lipstick!
So you know how your beauty blender should be wet before use? I use the Avene thermal water for that, I spray my beauty blender with it and then I blend my foundation with it. It goes so smoothly on the skin <3
Here are the products:

May have been mentioned as fairly new here but tatti lash invisible diy lash extentions are amazing!

So easy to do and have lasted me around a week with each set, then clean them and can re use! Saved me so much money and had so many compliments

Are these easy to apply? I’ve never used false lashes before

Very! It comes with a bond and sealant that you put on like mascara then stick the lash on. There's videos on youtube and Tiktoc that helped me 😊
Thank you! Can you still apply UKLash serum whilst they are on? Apologies for all the questions!

What watches are everyone wearing these days? I had an Apple Watch and hated it, so looking for a new, mechanical watch.

Anyone used the manicurist kit and has any feedback? It's all over social media and I'm really tempted by the easy removal part of it but it's expensive! is it worth the money? thanks!

Can anyone recommend a good primer or cc/bb cream? I loved the because zero pigment foundation but it was discontinued.

I had to stop buying skin care bar basic face wash and moisturiser for a couple of months and I'm so excited I've been able to afford some oils and serums from the ordinary this month. I'm trying their caffeine eye solution too as my child keeps going on about the bags under my eyes 🙄
