Your tips on how to look more Groomed, Glamorous or Polished.

As the title says, what are your tips for looking Groomed, Glamorous or Polished? Whether it be on a budget or if you splash the cash, leave your tips below.

Did you just get shampoo and conditioner? I like the look of these. I want a styling product as well. X

I did but I already have styling products I swear by; Oribe supershine light cream and Oribe Royal Blowout Spray. The Royal Blowout Spray is my desert island product xx

what are youre favourite clear lip products- I’m not big on lipstick and usually opt for a more natural Finish for my makeup but I’m having trouble finding a good lip product thats hydrating as well as pretty. I bite my lips quite a lot and lip products help stop that

Any of the NARS Afterglow ones. Turbo is my favourite colour but I've got a couple of the other paler ones as well.

I’m at a point in my life where I’m so confused, don’t know where to start, feel clueless, don’t know who I am, stuck in a rut, peri menopause lost myself, can’t be bothered, I want to be bothered, gained almost 2 stone and the list goes on and on and on
For months now iv spends hundreds of pounds on been all sorts of products, lotions and potions, but I just don’t feel I’m getting anywhere or seeing any difference.
Sorry for the rant just having a low day and feeling sorry for myself

Have you asked about HRT? Women go through so much if your GP doesn’t understand then try seeing a specialist - search menopause specialist and your area.

Yeah it’s all part and parcel of peri menopause I suppose I’m fighting against and not wanting things to change and not wanting to become that older self.

I use this and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. You only need the tiniest amount for lips and they stay hydrated all day. I used to suffer from dry lips as I generally have quite dry skin and this has totally transformed them. It’s great for cuticles and dry patches of skin too.

If I’m looking for a bit of colour to my lips but not a lipstick or gloss then I’ll line my lips with a colour similar or slightly darker to my natural colour and then add this on top. So natural and don’t need to worry about transfer!

That’s great under the eyes too!! At night obv cos it’s thicker… but excellent for under the eyes, I’m like a glazed donut going to bed

I found HRT to be quite life changing and I can’t imagine ever coming off it. I went through v early menopause and it is considered healthier to be on HRT to protect your heart and bones.
My metabolism continues to slow down so I’m very controlling with my diet as I wish to remain a size 8 and I go to the gym 3 times a week.
I also went grey very early in life so I have to maintain my roots too.
fighting the aging process is exhausting and expensive

Did you find that your PMT symptoms were worse leading up to menopause (extra-angry, pain that lasted longer, etc.?) If you opted for HRT, how did you know you needed to go on it, and what sorts of things did it help you with? Once your periods stopped, did you find that all the PMT symptoms you...

I've got a few on the go:
Acqua Di Parma - Ginepro di Sardegna
Jo Malone - Wood Sage & Sea Salt
Penhaligons - Quercus plus a few others from a sample pack my mum gave me. I think Blenheim Bouquet is the other one I wear. I think they're actually both meant for men but I like them... I don't think I'd buy a whole bottle of either, though.

I always used to have Chanel No19 but I can't find that anywhere anymore. I guess they've discontinued it. I've got Gabrielle this time but I don't love it, so I don't tend to wear it - it's more of a winter scent anyway, although I can't really say why!

I'm not someone that needs their own tattle wiki, but you know those free sample forms on Facebook you see? If they're by a company called SoPost or Sampl, or the company itself, they're genuine!
I get so much from those links, I got some Skinceuticals in the post last week!
