Off the topic of Christmas, they don’t seem to do them in the pound shop anymore but the likes of wickes do. I think the inexpensive covers you can get for radiator pipes and floor clips make a lot of difference to badly painted or bare copper pipes.

I'm thinking of getting silver radiator pipe covers. My radiator covers are white and simple so think it will look nice.
I painted my copper pipes with radiator paint then used the chrome pipe collars for a neat finish. I will say that radiator paint is a pain in the arse though

Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I'm trying to cut back on some cleaning products what with the cost of living, etc. I've been doing some research about floor cleaning and today experimented with popping two spoons of non bio fairy washing powder with boiling hot water and mopping and honestly, my floors have never been so clean! The smell is lovely too!
Does anyone have any recommendation for good european furniture sites? We'll start renovation soon and so far I have Kavehome, Westwing and Finnish design shop, but I'd like to find more that are similar. Nothing too luxurious, I just want to find some more inspiration and nice pieces. Something similar to Made, but they don't deliver to my location (and I'm also not sure about import duties).
Bio washing powder your mop bucket also works really well for cleaning because it’s slightly better at breaking down grease and grime. It’s also good for pet smells and things like that because of the enzymes in it.

For the life of me I can’t work out where the smell is coming from in my bedroom and it’s driving me mad
My cat vomited on Friday night and my husband cleared it all whilst I was at work and we have gone over it with Docter beckmans botttle of carpet shampoo and my door has been shut allday today and just opened it and such a musty fouisty smell and it’s pissing me off as I’m such a clean freak and ocd!!

not Sure if bicarb of soda is safe for cats, if it is you could sprinkle it in the morning before work with door closed and see if it makes a difference after a few hrs
I’d second bicarbonate, also there are dehumidifier crystals which could help if there is any dampness.
