I rang my health insurance provider to see what the story with upgrading my policy is. I don't have any health concerns right now, no long term conditions etc, I just got a raise a few months ago and want a better level of coverage for when I decide to have a baby (in 3 - 4 years).
But they won't let me upgrade until my renewal!! Which is baffling because I'm telling them that I want to give them more money
(and to be fair, I wouldn't even argue with their rules that you have to wait 26 weeks for new benefits to kick in)
The woman on the phone was also extremely dismissive

I was leaving the chemist earlier and a woman who was walking to her right, my left (the opposite to how most people do it here), just about walked into me - so I quickly stepped aside to the right and a second or so later she stepped in that direction too, causing us to smash into each other. I said "sorry" to be polite, only for her to say, "Watch where you're bloody going!" Rude cow. I tut-tutted and scowled at her, which made me feel a bit better.
Cold callers. So far this week I've had 3 separate window companies, despite me saying I'm not interested, still carrying on their chat
