Maybe it’s just like an after school games club or something? My son does a sport club after school for an hour on a Weds that is provided by the school.
Edited to add, I’ve just seen the story, and it does sound like a proper after school club, doesn’t it. So possibly taking away a space from a child who’s parent works full time?! What is the need?!

The veg cancels it out, you can eat anything you know as long as you stick a bit of cucumber on the side it's all good.
