32 years old. I feel old as feck when I hear about Tik Tok.

The full TT premise, I just don’t get it. Never will.

Also, when I go to my local super market and the young 18/19 year old employee who is standing on door duty has his face in his phone his ENTIRE shift. It makes me feel old. As I get angry about it. Nothing to do with hating on supermarket workers or being “a Karen” but I would have been reprimanded when I worked in retail if I dreamt of having my
Phone out. Also, this is a bug bear of mine in work places: you’re at work, being paid to work. Eyes up, phone down and work!

By the age of 25, no matter how young a person is, they start complaining that they feel 'old.' So, in a lighthearted manner... what makes you feel old?

- Teenagers embracing the emo trend and wearing band shirts I saw the concert for before they were in reception
- People that were born after 9/11 being adults
- When I was looking for a dance workout and selected one called "dance along to the oldies" to find it was full of 90s pop songs. Oldies!?
- Realising how old early memes are. Just how is Badger Badger Badger 18 years ago?

Looking at ASOS. Makes me clutch my pearls and feel like I should be shopping at Bon Marché. I remember when it first started up, called 'As Seen on Screen' and you could buy rip-offs of celeb clothing.

People not knowing about dial up internet,
I remember seeing a reaction video online a few years back about teenagers / pre-teens being shown older technology and asked to identify it. One of them was shown a floppy disk and said "oh, someone 3D printed the save button!"

People not knowing about dial up internet,
tiktok, people wearing really chunky trainers (you would not be seen in those when I was at school!!)

And apparently side partings and skinny jeans aren't in anymore? I must be old then 😂

I honestly feel so old but so young at the same time!

Remembering video stores, and the excitement of going picking up a video on a Saturday, this makes me feel soo old as it's a different life now!

The fact that to some this is a normal face now. To me she looks like she’s been in a fight with a swarm of hornets 😳 and the lashes 🕷👃🕷

The whole gender / trans debate and issues. I find it alarming and baffling in equal measure. Makes me feel old and or stupid that I just don't get it or the erosion of women in society.:(

Just being 34. I often get nostalgic for my 20’s as I had a fucking great time. So glad I didn’t have the pressure of social media that kids do now, I don’t think I would have coped well. Facebook was used to chat to friends and write about your night out, not filter photos to shit & draw slugs above your eyes.
This is so true. Kids and people in their early 20s seem so image conscious these days, back when I was at uni I’d if you posed for a photo with your mates you smiled or pulled a silly face... you didn’t pout or try and look sultry. Then you’d upload it straight off your camera without so much as a filter (sometimes even forgetting to rotate it 😂 ). These photos when then all be added to an album called “*~summer nights out~*” Or something. There was nothing pretentious about it, we didn’t care about the photos being “aesthetic” or portraying a certain style... we were just having fun!

Someone at work genuinely didn't know what a fax was. Looked at me like I was ancient when I explained how we used to use them

Myself and my partner were recently in the queue for an event. Got chatting to the girl next to us who told us she was 19 and she asked our ages, so I told her 33 & 31. Her response was ‘aw it’s nice your still getting out to these things in your 30s’. She was dead serious too 😂👵🏼🤦🏼‍♀️

What is old age. I am 76+, but in my mind still in my 30's. I was born in 1944 - older than a baby boomer, before we had the NHS, so have lived through much.

Thinking about mobile phones - the old style of texting where you had to press the button once for A twice for B and three times for C.

And those ringtone adverts you used to get on the back of magazines for midi songs that barely sounded like the actual song. And everyone having the Crazy Frog as their ringtone (that was also 18 years ago this year - 2003!)
