I feel this. I stopped paying for things with my credit card and switched to a debit card for daily expenses account. I just deposit a certain amount each month and make do with that. Saves me the hassle of cash when I can choose contactless payment and still keeps me accountable compared to the credit card. Glad the internet-limitation worked well! I'm so awful at this, I have to find a way to cut that twitch where I immediately reach for the phone the moment I am bored, even if I have nothing to do on it. I'll try a better planned approachI've realised though that no matter how hard I try, I'm not going to be able to budget when paying for everything by card - there is just some sort of mental disconnect there where it doesn't feel like money money. Especially with contactless payments. So I've got out some cash for Mon-Sun next week, it's a pretty generous budget but it is lots less than I have been frittering away and I'll see how I get on with it.
Wheezing at this, what a time it was I miss their bizarre posts lol.bf came home from work and we had a nice afternoon nap followed by, as the omnipresent MD would have said, a naughty afternoon in the sheets, woop woop i just remembered when (s)he said they were playing strip twister with kate. strip twister!!! what a life.

Will catch up later to give you all some love, but felt like updating. Woke up this morning with a banging headache which quickly turned into a migraine. After spending all day yesterday in the office with sunglasses, I finally asked to take today as a sick day, and thankfully they were okay with it. Spent all morning lounging around with migraine patches and cold bandanas wrapped around my head, and also put away the clean laundry while I'm at it. The painkiller is finally doing its job and I might spend the afternoon at home just catching up with a few life things and resting, which would be nice. Made myself a frappe and grabbed a bowl of popcorn since I'm not feeling as sick anymore and I think the coffee helped for once. Last night I was fuming at a family member after I had a chat with mum and I think it contributed to the icepick-like headache of this morning. The weather is too hot yet again so I'm parked in front of the fan. Might have meatballs for lunch with the leftover roasted veggies if I don't feel like throwing up by then. Hope everyone is okay <3 x

Doesn't always work. But at least it's a good excuse to have a coffee
