Weird Phobias

Dry skin touching it hearing it being rubbed seeing it all cringe and shudder at it makes me physically sick

Touching dry cloths like J cloths

I forgot about this One me too!!!! Everybody laughs at me. I was 5 when I watched it. It gave me nightmares for months and I’ve never watched it since

Same! Everyone laughs at me too. My GCSE French teacher made us watch it one day. Made me sit at the front of the class. Couldn't cry because I was at school! My work colleagues laugh about my phobia (in a nice way not cruel)

Polystyrene can't stand the sound.
Toes can't even touch my own

I'm not really scared of heights but I'm terrified of sheer cliffs, I couldn't even watch countryfile for a while it was so bad. Does anyone else experience that?

I was made to sit right at the front because I'm very petite. Right in front of the tv. It's literally giving me flashbacks right now

Going swimming....

I'm 36 years old and I can't swim. All because in a swimming lesson when I was about 9 or 10, my best friend trapped me under a float and I nearly drowned. Amazingly she's still my best friend, but after that I cannot bear to be in a swimming pool... Ironically she's now my daughters god mother and takes her swimming. She's very apologetic and, even now, mortified that she caused my phobia.

But yeah, I'll never be a swimmer.

I am petrified of frogs/toads one came into my house a couple of nights ago when I let my dog out and I swear it gave me a small heart attack

Okay so I can’t put my arm or hand under my pillow when I’m in bed/going to sleep. Does anyone remember the movie Drop Dead Fred? There’s a scene in it when the little girl is in bed sleeping and a hand creeps out from under the pillow and slaps her on the head. That honestly traumatised me as a child I’m not even sure why, I know the boogie man isn’t under there! I see people putting their arms and hands under their pillow to sleep at night all the time and I think of that movie and it makes me feel a weird kind of way

The film ET. Honestly, I’m terrified. No idea why, I even remember watching it quite happily as a young child. Even just thinking about it now and what it looks like and the noises it makes... my heart starts beating really fast and I feel like crying I try once a year to watch it and cure my fear but I always turn it off before it even comes on the screen

It’s the teeth. And they way he screams. And the part where he is white at the side of the lake and he gets put into that container. Right I’m going now to be sick

I am absolutely bleeping terrified of large Teddy bears. Also, inflatable animals, people dressed up as characters and people touching my neck
