It's harder to create a calorie deficit through exercise. I'd try dropping your calories slightly and see what happens. Good luck xxHello. I’m new to this thread but struggling with my weight. I lost 2 stone and kept it off over a year ago but could really do with losing another stone or two at least.
ive been on around 1850 cals a day for quite sometime with little to no movement - same kilo up and down for months. Really scared to eat less as don’t want to cause a binge if I feel restricted / hungry.
I have started a new gym recently with harder classes than my last pal e so hoping that helps. Might have to drop 50-100 cals a day and see what happens.
Walking lots definitely has helped me because it doesn’t cause me to consume extra calories like intense exercise does. Good luck for the weekThanks for the replies. Will redo my MFP goals ready for tomorrow! I’ve only missed my steps goal (7.5k) twice in May so feeling positive about that. Need to keep working on the changes and creating better habits. It’s fairly obvious I’m on maintenance cals really. I just didn’t want to believe it
Drink loads of waterHolding myself somewhat accountable here. Just stepped on scales and am biggest I've ever been at 12 stone 6 I look horrible.
I'll post a photo of the scales this time next week and see what I've managed to achieve!
Any weight loss tips for a big boost to get me going?
Set little goals for yourself! (for example :10 000 steps every day or walk 4 km every day)Holding myself somewhat accountable here. Just stepped on scales and am biggest I've ever been at 12 stone 6 I look horrible.

Hats off to you, I couldn't do it!I switched to a steak, eggs and bacon diet. Zero carb. I also fasted for 16-18 hours. Dropped a stone in 4 weeks. Granted, i was also working out too. You will have to be incredibly committed and keep away from temptation.
Best advice is to clear out cupboards of any junk or processed food. I mean literally zero junk foods. No crisps, no sweets, no biscuits, no pies or pasties, nothing.
