Is anyone else worried they aren't stressed enough? 🤦 I keep seeing and hearing that it's so stressful and a friend of mine also getting married next year put up a status on social media warning people not to bother wedding planning because of how stressful it is. And I'm just sat there wondering why it's so stressful and have I missed/forgotten something major 😬😂
The only thing I’m worried about is potentially having to delay and not being able to use our first choice suppliers. If it can go ahead as scheduled then I think I’ll be pretty laid back 🤞🏻

No I’m just wearing my wedding dress. I only get to wear it once so I want to wear it all night.
Me too I’m paying enough bloody money for it And the ceremony is only about 40 mins what’s the point just wearing it for that long 🤣

I get that. Mine has long sleeve and a long train and I’m worried about people standing on it at the party bit. So plan to get changed after the dinner etc
Mine has a long train, but there’s a clip at the back to pin it up so it doesn’t get stepped on. I just think that at the reception I won’t stand out as the bride if I’m in a normal dress! It’s personal choice though, whatever works.

i spent so much money on mine (and it really wasn’t that much in the grand scheme of weddings) I’m wearing it all day. My seamstress is putting a button in so I can hike up the train

I haven't got as far as dresses yet but will definitely be wearing mine all day. I know what I want already and I'm going for a shorter one anyway. I'm planning on a change in shoes though.

Got a DJ booked in now! So we have food and music sorted. It's starting to feel really real now that we have bits booked. I'm just starting to think about invites now as my fiance has been talking about designing them himself so I need him to get on with it if he means that. And a photographer is next as well I guess.

That’s lucky, mine can’t have that. Yeah defo, I’m going for a minimalist wedding dress for the evening so it’s still bridal!

I have never liked to be the centre of attention, but it’s the one day I’m going to enjoy it for a change. I’ll definitely have flat shoes for the evening though, im not walking around in heels all night! 😂

Yeah I definitely want to get converse or vans for the evening 🤣
Same! I’m getting converse! I have to wear heels for the other bit because my fiancé is 6”4 and I’m only 5”2 and I don’t want to look tiny on the photos! 😂

That's what I'm planning. My fiance thought we should both wear vans for the whole thing but I said no. I'm still wearing flats for the ceremony but like ballet pumps I think, but then getting white converse or vans for the reception.

My bestie and one of my bridesmaids got engaged this weekend! So happy to have someone to plan with!!

We’ve been spending the evening doing a load of wedding prep… menu decided, now filling in our ceremony planner. I didn’t realise how much info was needed! I thought I had much longer to make decisions about things.

Is this an appropriate song for me to walk down the aisle to? I absolutely love it, but I’m not sure. It’s never on any lists 🤣

I’ve seen it on a list! Can’t remember where. I really think it’s down to you. It’s a lovely choice.

If you love it, that's all that matters ☺
What sort of info had you not realised about?

Hi guys. Got engaged in October 2021 and we are now looking to start planning….I would LOVE to have a December 2022 wedding but I’m so worried I’ve left it too late compared to others. Is a year enough time to start planning if I get booked in somewhere? Or am I best going for 2023?
