I’ve started to look for wedding cars, we like the VW camper style ones but I’m not sure who’s actually supposed to be in the wedding cars so not sure how many we’ll need, I’m think two? Does the groom and groomsmen need one or is it just me, my dad and bridesmaids?

We are staying at the place the night before as it’s a 5 hour drive from home, so no cars for us as it’s all in the one place (although my fiancé is talking about hiring a fancy car to travel in
). If it’s all at one place I probably would only get the one car for you to arrive in. If there’s travel involved, I’d get 2 - so you can travel with your husband and bridesmaid/groomsmen can travel separately? That’s fairly normal for weddings we’ve been to in Ireland which often seem to involve driving half way across the countryI’ve just booked itI guess it depends on whether you’re moving location during the wedding…

went for 2 of the VW campers, one will pick the groomsmen and fiancé up and take them to the church, and then it will come to pick up the bridesmaids and my mum up, and then the second one will take me and my dad to the church (We’re getting ready at wedding reception venue so need transport) and then me and hubs will have photos while the two cars take bridesmaids, groomsmen and my parents back to the hotel and then one will come back to pick us up! £550 for the lot with hampers for everyone, matching ribbons and flowers, and all that picking up and dropping off so I thought that was a great deal!Happy wedding year to all of us 2022 brides and grooms!

I'm getting married in October and just about to order my dress... Would I be mad to order it a size down.. Ive already lost two stone and want to loose more (just to feel more like me-covid and exams were a killer)
Dresses are so tricky with this because you don't know where in your body you'll lose the weight, a dress can be altered at least 3 sizes down, so I would say just order your normal size, it's just adding more unfair pressure on yourself as well
It’s not the same but, it might help a little. I was a bridesmaid in 2019 wearing a very fitted dress. I’m a size 10 with an hourglass figure and I had to get a size 16 in the dress to fit my boobs in then have it taken in on my waist etc! So I’d say, go larger, it’s easier to have it taken in than taken out!

Meant kindly - no. Don’t do this to yourself, you don’t need the added pressure. Speak to your dress shop and see what they advise, they’ll be able to explain how much/little your specific dress can be taken in if you still want to lose more weight.
